(Y/N's POV)
"(Y/N)! Come over here!" Emily shouted, calling me over to her little group.
"Coming!" I jogging over to them, sitting down slowly to make myself comfortable in the small space.
"Did you hear about that group of thieves that just joined the Survey Corps? Pathetic! The only thing will do is drag down our dignity," Emily spat, "What was their leader's name again? Lav... no, Le-
"Levi."
"Yeah! That was his name! So you did hear about them!!" My eyes widen in shock.
H-he joined the Survey Corps...
I heard murmuring as the bell rang. The gates were opening.
The bell...The Survey Corps are coming back!...LEVI!!
I automatically ran to the Main Street, clutching the locket tightly in my small hands.
A tear trickled down cheek as I prayed for Levi to come back alive.
Come on...
Levi...
Where are you?
The horses trotted in, and my eyes darted from person to person.
Levi's POV
Where is she...?
I had her cravat safely tucked in my uniform.
(Y/N)...
Suddenly, my eyes landed on her (e/c) eyes. A smile immediately appeared. The look in her eyes broke my heart. They were filled with worry and sadness. Unconsciously, I frowned.
(Y/N's POV)
More tears ran down my face as I spotted Levi.
Y-You're safe...You're back...
My smile disappeared the second I saw his frown. But he didn't look angry. It was concerned.
I ran up to him as soon as it was over, and dragged him away. Far from the crowd. Far from the people. Far from reality.
"You're...back," I whispered, looking down.
Levi stayed silent.
"L-Levi?" I looked up, tears spilling everywhere, "I-I didn't know where you were...I-I-I tried contacting y-you, but t-they said they c-couldn't find y-you. I-I am so, so, s-so sorry, L-Levi. I a-am s-so, so sorr-"
"(Y-Y/N)..." Levi murmured, grabbing my hands tightly. He pulled me into a tight hug and I started sobbing. Levi's cold hands wrap around my frozen body, brushing my hair and telling me it's okay now.
"You still have that?" Levi asked, pulling me slightly away and pointing to the locket in my hands.
"Y-yeah..."
"Ever opened it?"
"N-No..." I sniffed.
"Open it." I slowly let go of Levi and hesitantly opened the small locket. A picture laid neatly inside. It was a picture of me and Levi. Smiling. On the bottom, the words, 'I love you, (Y/N)' were written in neat cursive.
"I waited so long (Y/N)..." Levi mumbled, grabbing my hands.
"Me too," I said, crying even louder. Suddenly, I felt Levi tilt my chin upwards. A pair of soft lips collided with mine. I closed my eyes and kissed back. Finally. We were finally together.
A Locket...
A Cravat...
They are our possessions.
They will never be forgotten.
