Trapped in Cosco

Chapter Five

Dani's POV:

The guys(and Cinnamon) were gone for a while. I was starting to regret telling Cinnamon to follow them because she could be danger. But then the guys came with a bunch of food and Greyson was holding Cinnamon. I got up and rushed to Cinnamon.

"Is she okay?" I asked Greyson.

"Ya, she's fine. She fell on her face but no crying." He nealt down on the ground a put Cinnamon on the ground. I have to admit. I had a slight crush on Greyson. But the fact that he was dating someone like Tori made me think he was never intrested in girls like me. But now that they broke up I thought maybe he did have an interest in girls like me. But then I like Chris. He was diffrent. Chris and I we didn't have a past which I thought was a good thing. Not to mention Chris stuck by my side even though we barely knew each other. Greyson didn't. Greyson also was planning on working for my parents till' he could open his own lab. I love my parents but if Greyson started acting like them from working with them for so long I would probably go insane. Oh, not to mention both Chris and Greyson were really cute in their own ways. Ugh, why am I thinking this? Neither one probably likes me that way. I'm too weird.

"Hey Danica" Tori said, "Your chicken is burning." Did she just call me Danica?

"Shit" I whispered- screamed.

"I got it" Greyson said. He shut off the stove which I ended up using somehow. He then took the chicken off the pan and threw in a trash bag he took out just in case something like this happened.

"It's okay Dani I'll give you some of mine" Greyson said.

"No Greyson I'll just make something else."

"No, really Dani I don't mind."

"No Greyson I'll give you my food" Chris said.

"I'm perfectly fine ma-" I was cut off.

"No Chris you don't have to give her your food." Greyson said walking towards Chris.

"Greyson I'm fine giving her some" Chris said walking towards Greyson. Why were they fighting? They both said one of the reasons the came to hide from zombies in Cosco was the large food supply. I could just go find more chicken a cook it. Not a problem. Cinnamon came running in between them barking. What is going on?

"Right" Greyson and Chris said.

"Hey idiots. Cosco is full food. Dani said she'll recook it so chill" Callie said.

"Thanks Callie. And guys thanks for the offer but I'll just get more chicken" I said. I started walking toward the freezer sections Cinnamon followed. I was in the plates and cups aisle when I realized Greyson followed me.

"Greyson why did you follow me?"

"We shouldn't go by ourselfs. When we were off getting food we found out the Cosco workers liked pulling pranks like making fake zombies. I just don't want you to not freak out or get hurt by yourself" Did he say you?" I know how you are when you freak out. Oh ya, that. I totaly forgot.

*** FLASHBACK***

It was the second week of 10th grade and Greyson started having dinner and working with my parents at our house more. It was a Friday and my parents went out with another couple to a science museum. Yes they are that science couple. I was staying home with Cinnamon because no invited me anywhere. When I heard a knock on the door. I went to the door.

"Who is this?" I asked in reaching distance of a baseball bat. Yes I was that paranoid that I kept weapons near the door.

"Hey Dani it's me Greyson"
