Victoria's POV:
Thump... Thump... Thump... Ryleigh ran down the stairs. "What the hell are you doing its 5 am" she said. "Bored" "what" " "BORED" I threw another knife at the wall. Ryleigh ran in and grabbed the knifes from my hand. "Why are you throwing kitchen knifes?" She asked in a calm tone. "I told you I'm bored" I said flopping down on the sofa. "We got anything in" she asked walking to the kitchen. She put the knifes on the table before opening the fridge, but she abruptly and closed the door. "Theres and hand" she said, "a severed hand" she said. "Well where else can was I supposed to put it, you don't mind do you?" "What where you doing" she said sitting down in her arm chair. "I got it at Bart's morgue I'm measuring the deterioration of finger prints after death". Ryleigh sighed, "I got to get ready for work" she said rubbing her temples. "Have fun" I mumbled closing my eyes.
I snapped my eyes open to someone shaking me. "Come on wierdo" said Donnovan straightening up once she saw me open my eyes. "Give me three minutes" I said sitting up and walking into my room. I quickly dressed pulling on a blue button down and black slacks before slipping on my black dress shoes. I walked out of my room and grabbed my coat. "I'll meet you at the station" she said walking out of my flat. I followed after her pulling my coat on as I closed the door. I held out my hand when I reached the road. A cab came to a stop a few feet in front of me. I got in. "Scotland Yard I'll pay you double if you get there fast" I said. He sped off.
I threw the money at the driver as I got out and slammed the door shut. I walked in the station and into Lestrade's office. "Greg" I said sitting down in one of the chairs in front of his desk. "At least you remember" he mumbled taking a sip of his coffee. "Why am I here" I asked "do you have a case for me". "Something like that" he said as he looked up. "When did that happen" he said gesturing to my now French braided hair. "It just sort of happened". Suddenly the door burst open. I didn't even have to turn my head to know who it was. "Sherlock" I said not even turning my head in his direction as Greg stood. "How'd you know" John asked. "One of his legs is 1.3 centimeters longer than the other, meaning that one of his shoes is more worn in than the other it makes his steps have a very distinct sound, also he has long legs so long strides and had a companion who has shorter legs shorter strides, I noticed it when you came into the lab when I was working 3 weeks ago, also who else would walk in here like there the best thing since sliced bread" I stated. "You" grumbled Lestrade. I rolled my eyes, "yes anyways" said Sherlock "why are we here" "do you know about the explosion" Lestrade asked running his hand through his greying hair. "Of course" I started "gas leak yes" Sherlock finished. "Made to look like one" Lestrade said. "We pulled a strong box from the wreckage, a very strong box". "In it where two letters addressed to the both of you" he pulled out the two envelopes. I grabbed the one addressed to me. "We X-rayed them there not booby trapped" Greg said. "How reassuring" Sherlock mumbled. I made my deductions in my head while Sherlock said basically the same thing out loud. I opened the envelope and pulled the letter out, it read.
Hello dearie,
I have a little game for you but I have to set a few rules. Victoria, you and Sherlock have to work together unless told otherwise. Have fun your first message should be coming soon. See you soon dearie and have fun playing my game.Suddenly the phone Sherlock had gotten in his envelope went off.
You have one new audio message.
The phone played 5 pips. The "Greenwich pips" I said. "It appears so" Sherlock said. "And so it begins" I said looking over his shoulder at the picture that was just sent to the pink phone.
