I believe in semi colans.
It shows that you could have ended all the shit, right then and there. You could have ended your 'book of life' with just a simple stroke of your permanent pen.
But, you didn't, and I'm glad.
Instead you chose to use a semi colan.
A plot twist they never saw coming, a short pause in the story line.
A moment for you, as the author to take a moment and think. A moment to make a choice.
You have the pen darling, make your story worth reading.
And when the time comes, all those rough drafts and pauses will finally pay off.
