* Last time on Shadowlands, Arabelle has a little talk with the leader of the Authority. And is banished to the shadowlands for eternity.

5 years later
I looked up at the sky, well here in the shadowlands there is no sky or Sun. The weather here is like no other, it doesn't rain or snow, just a dark sky to look at you only know when it's night, because of the moon's light. It's been 5 years since the Authority banished me here. Life here is horrible but you have to get used to it here. Well I have to get used to it for an eternity. I was going to get out of here soon, I was going to get out, even if I die trying I'm getting out here, and getting my revenge on the Authority for sending me here.
I was going down to the river to get some water, I heard the rustling of bushes I pulled out my knife and pointing it to the bushes
"Who's there?" I take small steps closer I was not going to be killed not today I was having freaking fried frogs tonight. You know how hard those are hard to fucking find. Impossible
"I'm asking you again, who the hell is there" I yell
I was about to just charge in, but then the most gorgeous man I've ever seen in my life, came out dressed in all black he's hair was a short messy dirty blond. His eyes they were like looking at the water they were magical. He had a belt filled with weapons around his waist including lots of guns.
"Who the hell are you" I ask pointing the knife at him, I mean he could have killed me if he wanted to.
Shot me actually in seconds. But he just had this smirk on his face like this was funny.
"I'm asking you again, next time I'll cut your balls all and feed them to the vultures" I say
He laughs, not like a chuckle like a full on laugh. I feel embarrassed but his laugh is like the music to my ears. Once he's calmed down he says
"I'm Jace, Shadowlander" He holds his hand out, which was bloody like he just came out of battle. He smirks at me as I look at his hand
"Not afraid of a little blood are you" He mocks
"No" I say as I shake his hand, I look at my hand which is covered in blood "Is this human" I ask
He smiles at me
"Wouldn't you like to know" He smiles at me like he knows something I don't. The smiles reminds me of a person who sent me to this very hell... I look at this weird amazing gorgeous boy. How the hell did he end up in here?
