I Adore You
When you say you love me, know I love you more. When you say you need me, know I need you more. Boy I adore you. Boy I adore you.-Miley Cyrus
*Blake's P.O.V.*
It was Christmas Eve and I was laying in my room listening to Radiohead. Mrs. Martinez was having a party downstairs right now and it just started. I was going to go, but I changed my mind. If that meant not seeing Rosie, then that's what I was going to do.
I don't what was wrong with me, but my feelings, and my hormones, had been messed up whenever I got around Rosie. It had been like this for the past two weeks now and I don't know why. I was trying to stay away from her, whenever I could. Because I didn't want anything to happen. I was getting caught up in my feelings.
"Oh! You're home? I thought you were gone." Rosie said coming into my room. I sat up and watched her walk across the room and to my window.
"Aren't you suppose to be downstairs?" I said to her and she looked back at me.
"I'm trying to get away from the party."
"Why?"
"My cousins are here and you're asking me why?" She said and I laughed. I gave her a once over and she looked beautiful. As always. She had on a cream lace top, with some blue jeans, and this red and white cardigan with some studded, laced wedge booties. Her hair was brushed into a bun and she had some make-up. Like I said, beautiful as always.
"Why aren't you at the party?" she said walking over to my bed, taking her hair out of the bun.
"Why are you wearing heels?"
"They're wedges. It's a difference."
"They both make you short girls look tall. What's the difference?" I asked and she just shook her head at me.
"You ask too many questions."
"That's what I'm here for."
"You're here for a lot of reasons." She said and I smiled down at her. She layed down beside me now. Looking up at the ceiling. I stared her big brown eyes, and wondered why the mystery? What was it about those big brown eyes that made me want her so bad"?
"Have you ever wondered, when the right person would come in your life?" She asked me and I gave her a confused look. She looked at me and sighed.
"Why should I wonder?"
"I don't know. Just to wonder, what they would be like. How they would act towards you. Would they like you? Would they love you? Or would they just want to be friends."
"Don't you think that if they just wanted to be friends, that maybe they weren't the right person all along?"
"You can be friends with someone forever and never tell them how you truly feel about them. I've been in that position for a while now." She said, not making eye contact with me. She sat up and walked back over to the window. She placed her hand on the fogged window as she watched the snow fall. When she took her hand off of the window, her tiny hand print sat there. She wrote her name above it and turned to look at me.
