Ever since Tuesday night, Becca and i took the rest of the week to ourselves and tuned out the guys. They went on a retreat on some resort somewhere saying they took this opportunity to have some guy time and be like "men".
Yeah Becca and i snorted at that.
We both decided that Becca shouldn't be staying with anyone of her parents and so we went back and forth to her moms house to take her stuff. Her mom didn't even react because Becca threatened her mom to the cops if she even uttered one word. The moving was tiring but at the end of Friday everything she had was all settled in the guest room beside my room. On Saturday we went shopping for new clothes and stuff to brighten up her new room. Martha came back on Thursday since i gave her another day off which was on Wednesday. So today, Sunday, we were just lounging in Starbucks doing nothing.
"Andie" Martha called out to me. I was staring into the distance. The lake beside this coffee shop was glistening in the early morning light.
"Hmm?" I asked, dropping out of my gaze and looking back at Martha and Becca who sat across me.
"We should get going." Martha said.
"But it's too early." I reasoned.
"I need to clean your house. And prepare lunch." She reasoned back.
"Martha, its like, half past ten." Becca said.
"I still have to buy the groceries Rebecca." Martha said calmly.
"Why not just go for brunch at a restaurant instead?" I asked. "My treat." I added.
"Lets!" Becca said excitedly as she clapped her hands.
"Victoria Andrea Miller, when i say lets go back home, we shall go back home. Or else i'd ride a cab home leaving both of you here." Martha insisted. Wow, she sure was firm.
"Fine." I said standing up. "I just buy a pack of whole coffee beans and ask the cashier to ground it before we leave. Meet you both outside in five."

It was about quarter past 4 in the afternoon and Becca and I were chilling at the jacuzzi.
"So, what did you do yesterday?" Becca asked.
"Huh?" I asked.
"You asked for a whole day to yourself, i mean, there must've been something important that made you want to bail on us." Becca turned to look at me. "Right?"
"The way you say it makes it sound like Im such a jerk." I tried staying off topic. I don't know why i keep turning the topic around but i guess i just wanted to keep out the whole, "rooftop-to-bed-to-kitchen" part of my life a secret.
"Oh Tori, not like that. I was just curious." She said. Agh. That tone. That sweet, understanding tone. That "i-know-you're-keeping-something-from-me-but-if-its-that-private-i'll-respect-it" tone. No Becca no.
I gave her a half hearted smile. "Nothing unusual. I was just exhausted and all. So i decided to take a day for myself in my onesies and just binge on tv shows and junk food. Becca scrunched her nose up and i gave her a confused look.
"What?" I said, sitting up on the cemented jacuzzi seats.
"You need to go back on working out." She smirked.
