Chapter 7

I couldn't sleep.

I don't even know why. All i remember is walking towards the kitchen and glancing at the clock that said 4:56. Then trudging up the stairs slowly as the tiredness that suddenly swept over me like a tidal wave then i flopped onto the bed on my stomach and closed my laptop thats paused on Evan Peters and placing it on the bedside table.

I looked at my alarm clock and it said 5:07 am. I didn't even think that i took that long trudging up the stairs to my room. I tossed and i turned, wanting to fall into deep sleep. I am tired. I just couldn't fall asleep.

I kept reminiscing the moments we had back at the roof. His sudden surprises and why is he trying to mess up my mind. This guy drives me nuts.

Thats because you like him. My mind said.

"Shut up i don't" i muttered as i grabbed one of the many pillows on my bed that surrounded and me and put it on top of my head as i shut my eyes and sighed.

But he likes you. My mind, again spoke up.

"No he doesn't" i mumbled but my voice was muffled by the pillow.

Well does he? I thought.

Then i dozed off to sleep.

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. Not because of the back up alarm clock since i turned both of my alarm clocks off (phone and bedside alarm) but because of the ringing tone i saved for Becca. I lazily stretched my hand towards the bedside table to look for my phone. I finally found it near my lamp and clicked it open.

"Finally Tori!" Becca yelled through the phone.

"What time is it?" I groaned.

"Uh, around eight o' clock" she answered.

"You woke me up this early for what?" I spat. I was totally in a bad mood right now.

"Woah looks like someone woke up in the other side of the bed." She muttered. I rolled my eyes and sat up on my bed.

"Well?" I asked a little calmer than before.

"Don't you remember?" She asked.

"Nope" i replied blankly.

"Breakfast at Jerrys? Then movie marathon at Caleb's? Then after lunch gaming time?" She reminded. Then it hit me.

"Oh! Omyghod i totally forgot." I said suddenly feeling a little bit more awake. We all planned to do that for today.

"Well, you did kind of slept in. We we're all supposed to meet at Jerry's around 9" Becca reminded me again.

"Well, i think I'm going to have to cancel for today." I said, not really feeling up for it.

"Oh? For breakfast? Thats okay you could catch up with us at Cal-"

"No i meant today today." I said cutting her off. There was a long amount of silence before i spoke up. "Becca?"

"Oh yeah hi sorry i was just texting the guys about you. Its okay, we all are pretty tired. I couldn't blame you if you wanted a whole day to yourself." She replied. You see? This is why i love her.

"This is why i love you. Thank you so much for understanding." I said.

"No problem and i love you too. Alright, bye." She said.

"Bye." I bid and ended the call. I stared at my phone for a few seconds before smiling and putting it back to the table and went to sleep again.
