I sigh and look around at my room
"This is the end of my life as I know it detective pierce. I don't think I'll ever be ready."
She gives me a sympathetic look "okay well one I told you. Call me Alyssa. And two, come on kiddo. I know it's going to be an adjustment but I have a feeling you're going to really like Pittsburgh. think of it this way, nobody knows you there. You can be whoever you want."
"Pfft, yeah. I can be the girl who got kidnapped and found 12 years later. I know for a fact this is going to be all over the news." I still can't believe this has happened. None of it has even begun to set in.
"Come on. We've got a long drive ahead of us."
We walk outside , I take one last look at my house and then poof. I'm gone."
*13 hours into the drive*
I have never been this bored in my life so I take out my phone and open snapchat then begin talking to it
"Hey guys. So I'm 4 hours away from my new life and I have absolutely no idea what to expect."
"I'm actually kind of nervous and it's crazy. But I'll just have to see what happens I guess"
I get off of snapchat and get on Twitter
