PART FOUR
" Even faced with the darkness despair hope shines bright and true "

Now Zayla ran far into the desert, before Kylo Ren noticed he felt empty. Like something had well left him. He had not felt this feeling since he said goodbye to his closest friend, Zayla. Zayla. Kylo Ren looked out onto the ongoing desert.

"We will meet again, won't we Ben."

He stroked her hair as he whispered in her ear, "Yes, yes we will."

Kylo Ren shook the feeling out of his head. He was now filled with darkness, not love or compassion! But he knew she was here. And now she was gone. He couldn't get the feeling to go away. So as the anger filled boy he let the light come out of the steel and he slashed at anything near him in frustration.

----

Meanwhile Zayla collapsed on the sand, feeling hopeless.

----

Pain striked Zayla's head as she opened her blurry eyes. Where am I? She thought nervously looking around. She had to get out of here,- wherever she was-that was when she noticed she was strapped down. She mumbled curses, trying to twist her left hand free, and maybe just maybe she could undo the strap somehow.

That's when she felt him, behind her,"Struggling will not help." His distorted voice came low and calm.

Zayla struggled to breathe. He was so close to him and yet so, so far.

He walked up to where she was facing, which was currently the wall.

"You will not speak?" His black eyed mask stared back at Zayla, and in the gleaming reflection of the eyes she saw herself, looking tired and scarred.

"Not to Kylo Ren." She spat, "Only to my Ben." A breathing came from the mask before he sighed and surprisingly to Zayla took the helmet off. Black hair spilled from the mask. She looked at him, her face showing complete shock. His skin was pale, and his eyes tired.

"Ben." She breathed out.

His eyebrows creased and his eyes flared, "I am not Ben anymore. He is gone. I destroyed him!"

Zayla glared at him and lifted her chin, "Than I will not speak to you, Sith." She looked up at the ceiling, it had bumps on it. Many bumps, like someone shot at it then painted over it...

"Zayla." His voice took her out of her imagination, she looked at the boy she once knew and saw he had moved until he was several inches away from her. She could feel his warm breath. His eyes were soft now, not hard and dark.

"Ben?" This time he didn't yell at her, just watched her sparkling eyes

He chuckled deeply, "You kept the gun." He nodded over to the counter close to them, her gun sitting alone on it.

Zayla looked over at it and back at him, but Ben had already put back on his terrible mask and had walked out of the door, leaving Zayla once again, confused.
