Chrysanthemums grow in the dark
Chapter 1
"Mom do you know where my book is? I have to give it back to the library today!" Krystol yelled down the stairs. She sighed. No response. Today will be a very long day.
Carefully as to awaken her older sister she took extra care to be louder than usual trying to find her book.
"MOMMM! Are you sure you don't know where it is? She yelled standing next to her sister. No response. Krystol shrugged her shoulders. Heavy sleeper much. If he sleeps in before school, that's her problem.
Finally she found her book in her mothers sewing bag. Of course, she always took her books. She lightly laughed, that happened so often. No wonder her mother didn't answer her.
She went back upstairs to her bedroom where her book bag sat on her bed. She pushed and pushed until it finally fit in. Just another wonderful day in paradise. Not.
But alas Krystol was excited. She got lucky a few weeks ago with a paid internship opening at her favourite magazine, Vogue. It was tricky to get but in the end she passed. It's always been her dream to work at a magazine. She wants to write articles and help others edit theirs. And someday, somehow she wanted to publish her own book. She wanted to do it all and this internship will help her get there. As long as nothing gets in her way.

Jasmine carried her backpack through the halls of her new school. She worried as she watched people get shoved into lockers and the jocks of the school walking around like they were the kings.
She looked around and saw the cheerleaders throwing around their Pom Poms. She continued on until she came face to face with her target. The performing arts classroom.
She could only dream of what it could be like in there. Learning in an actual performing arts classroom. Her old school was so run down, it only had the capacity for the basic classrooms which is why her teachers recommended she transfer here. She slowly pulled the metal door open and walked inside.

Classical ballet music played as Julianna danced her way across the stage. Her classmates watched in awe as her body arched and stretched along to the music.
Ballet was a big part of Julianna's life ever since she turned 15 when her parents could finally afford for her to be in the program. She wasn't the best of the best but that's what made her special. She wasn't perfect at it, but that's ok, she tried her best.
She finally ended her dance in second position and held it until the music stopped. Everyone clapped as she made her way off the stage blushing as deeply as a rose.
"Alright class! I have to introduce the new class for next year. In 6 weeks, fridaybthey will compete to make one of the 12 open places in the class. Since there are 48 of them, they will have a 1 in 4 chances of making it. You may help them if you wish. Oh and the dance ceremonies are the day after. Practice time everyone!
They all walked in. Julianna knew she wanted to help someone. Dancing would be a little difficult.
AHA! She found her target. The girl with the blonde hair and guitar strapped to her back.

How was it? Don't worry everything will fall into place :) it doesn't precisely match our lives and personalities, but I'm trying to make it all go along smoothly. ~writer 2/ Juli
