The lair was filled with a comfortable silence.
Kind of.
Taylor leaned lazily against her red banded boyfriend, watching his brother, Michelangelo, play against his girlfriend in Mario Kart Wii.
Raphael peered over his comic book over to the dojo, "When's Wolfie and Lame-o-nardo gonna get back?" Annalise shrugged, trying to pass Mikey's Kart. "It's one of their ways of bonding, I guess." "Yeah! Like how Lisey and I play video games!"
Annalise giggled, "Yes Mikey." Raph rolled his eyes. "Whatever." he mumbled. Taylor smirked, "What's up with you, babe?" Raph frowned, "I don't know, I just feel like.. somethings gonna happen."
"WE DID IT!"
Two ecstatic shouts filled the lair. Taylor laughed, "Like that?"
Raph groaned, droping his comic and covering his "ears".
"Did what, dorks?" He watched as his brother dashed out of his lab into the living room, his girlfriend, Sarina, close behind.
"We created a amazing new invention that will allow us to travel between dimensions!"
Annalise pauses the game, "Um, why exactly?"
"Well, Donnie and I thought that, incase the kraang were to come back, we would be able travel to dimension x." Sarina concluded, rubbing the back of her neck, "and to help mutants that might still be trapped there."
"What about the kraang?" Destiny asked, her boyfriend, Leonardo, trailing behind her, "Donnie and Sarina made a dimension invention!" Mikey reinstated, jumping up, "Can we try it out? Please?!"
Everyone blinked, staring at the excited teen. "Well i guess we could... I don't really see why not." Donnie shrugged.
"Wait." Leo, whose been silent all this time, spoke up, "How do we know its safe?" "That's why we're testing it, idiot." Raph grumbled.
Leo glared, "You know what I mean."
The orange banded turtle sprinted to the lab, the others following suite.
