*KLAUS*

"Mr. Klaus, Mr. Klaus, Mr. Klaus!!!" Minori knocked before she entered my home.

"Good morning to you too, Minori." I lay out a tray of biscuits and tea on the coffee table. "I just finished preparing tea. Care to try some?"

"Yeah!!!" Minori enthusiastically replied before she goes to a halt and starts looking awfully tense. "U-umm... I'm sorry, Mr. Klaus but..."

"But...?" I wonder what's wrong.

"Umm... Ahh..." Minori was fidgeting back and forth and is constantly keeping her mouth open and shut. I wonder what the problem is?

"I'm on a diet!!!" She spoke louder than she should've.

"... You are...?" I walk towards her and grab her by the waist. I hold her cheek gently and blink. "You don't look like you've gained any weight at all. In fact," I carried her in my arms. "You're especially light."

"Ehhhh..." Minori was silent but I didn't notice. I was too busy wondering why she was so light.

I suppose since she's small and thin... Well, perhaps because she's also quite a petite girl, that's why she's so light.

This is the first time I've held a girl in my arms before. Well, holding my girlfriend in my arms at least.

Girlfriend... Somehow, knowing that makes my heart feel queasy all of a sudden.

I wonder if Minori is feeling the same way...?

I take a quick glance at Minori and I saw her face bright and almost on the verge of tears.

Oh no. I may have done something wrong.

Well, of course. To be held against an old man without their permission would make anyone uncomfortable. "I apologize, Minori." I place her back down gently. "I was being insensitive. I should've considered your feelings first."

"E-ehh?" She seems perplexed all of a sudden but then exclaims "Ah." Almost as if she had just been enlightened of something. "Mr. Klaus, if you're thinking of something like me feeling uncomfortable because I was held by an 'old man' such as yourself then you're absolutely wrong." She even emphasized absolutely.

"I was, just, you know... Umm, anyone's heart would beat rapidly if they suddenly get princess carries by their romantic partners, right?" Her face begins turning more and more red. "It even seemed like something that happens during weddings, y-you know."

Hearing Minori's explanation let a sense of relief wash over me but also getting flushed at the same time.

Feeling kind of awkward, I looked at my watch to check the time and notice that it's already past 10:30 a.m. "Hmm? That's odd." I say unknowingly.

"What's odd, Mr. Klaus?"

"Oh, nothing of your concern." I nonchalantly say and take a look outside in search for a particular person. "It's supposed to be time for Iris to visit me. I wonder if some event came up." I start thinking of various possible reasons on to why Iris is later than usual.

She might be going to hand over her manuscript or somewhat. Maybe going on a trip for a new change of pace...?

Speaking of trips, since Minori and I are an official couple now, it would be rude not to ask her out on a date, no?

"Oh, Mino-" I was about to ask her when a train of thought came to mind.

I don't know what kind of dates Minori enjoys. Rather, what do the youth nowadays enjoy doing? What kind of dates do they have?
