Chapter 2

------ Jenny's PROV----

"JENNA I DO KNOW HIM! Remember the waterpolo guy I told you about? That's him!"

"Oooo Jenny has a thing for josh." Jenna started saying,

"I do not"

"You do too, and haven't you seen him in like boy panties"

"They are called speedoes not 'boy panties'" by the end of our conversation I was dying of laughter and I fell off her bed. I guess my fall was pretty loud because before I knew it josh swung the door open (which by the way almost hit me in the head) and he rushed over to me to help me up. "Jenny are you ok? That sounded like it hurt." Josh explained "um I'm fine, thanks for helping me up... Again" I said. "Aw you guys are so cute" Jenna said. Josh looked at me and I could see he was starting to blush. Does he actually like me? I barley even know him, no guy has ever even flirted with me before so why would josh one of the most popular guys in our grade like me, the short dorky girl that everyone ignores.

I realized it was quite for a while so I suggested "hey do you guys want to watch a movie?" So we all agreed on watching insidious. Once the movie started Jenna went to the kitchen to go make popcorn, and left josh and I alone in the room.

I was happy he was on the floor and not sitting next to me, but I jinkxed it, right when I thought he wouldn't get near me because he probrably didn't even like me he sat down right next to me. I don't even know why he sat next to me I kept thinking it was because the floor was uncomfortable but then he did a thing I would have never even thought anyone would do to me. He put his arm around me, ok I know it's not that big of a deal to some of you, but for me, it was a miracle, no boy has every even came up and started talking to me let alone putting their arm around me. With his arm around me I felt safe, and at the same time I had freakin birds flapping in my stomach, not butterflies, birds. The movie started to get really scary, and I was starting to think Jenna ditched me and josh because she wanted us to get to know eachother or something. A really scary part came up out of nowhere and I jumped, once I did that josh looked at me with his dreamy eyes that I could look at for days "are you scared?" He asked

"ya just a little" I told him. And once I said that he pretty much grabbed me and sat me on his lap, my heart was racing and I couldn't believe he just picked me up and put me on his lap. Just when I thought Jenna would never come back she came into the room with a huge bowl of popcorn and some drinks. She sat on the other side of us and wouldn't stop staring at josh and I and grinning. Once again a scary part came up and I jumped, josh started laughing at me because I fell off his lap onto the floor, he helped me up and sat me on his lap, but this time I was facing him. I started to turn around so I could face the movie, but then he did the most unexpected thing....
