12:53 p.m.

Skye and Ben stepped outside of the sushi bar and started to call a taxi cab to take them to the airport. It was hard for him, leaving his family behind but excitement still flowed through his veins for he had so many great adventures to come because when you go to university to study something you love class becomes fun and mysteries await in the next day's work. but he was getting ahead of himself here.

Skye looked at the window and did what we all do from time to time, visualize. We visualize what we think the future will be like or at least what we want it to be like. In Skye's case she knew with Ben gone time would just waste away but because of her despondent mood she thought of the worst possible, or so she thought.

They arrived at the airport at 01:16 p.m.

Enough time for Ben to check in for his flight which would depart at 02:35 p.m.

Skye slouched down into an uncomfortable airport seat overwhelmed in her bad mood. She wasn't usually like this but this was one hell of a suckish birthday. She gave off a well overdue sigh, long and soft but well, well overdue. She looked to find where Ben was standing and she saw him hugging Gemma, his girlfriend. Gemma had red hair that wasn't to vibrant, she was fairly skinny, defined face but a little too much make-up. Sure she was pretty but Skye could never like someone who likes to push people around. Lost in thought Skye gazed into the distance her lips slightly parted, unknowingly someone sat down next to her.

"What you looking at?" the stranger asked.

"My brother's girlfriend, you know I don't really like her,"  she replied still caught up thought and not knowing she had just said that aloud.

The stranger chuckled and Skye turned to her side and when she saw him she jumped up out of her she got so startled.

"Ben when did you get here i thought that happened in my mind," she said fearing what he would say next.

"Skye chill, I don't care" he laughed and gave me a hug.

The hug was long and tight, I was going to miss him so much!

"I wanted you to be the last person I hugged," he said with a saddening smile planted on his face.

Skye's throat throbbed and tears welled in her eyes. She couldn't speak and her vision became blurred and the tears stained her cheeks and her eyes grew red. All the words that were building up in her mind but she couldn't speak. Lost for words she watched as Ben's shadow disappeared into the distance...
