They left in the royal carriage, and Glacier was surprised to see Twilight there, as well. While Celestia was preparing for her raising of the sun tomorrow, Glacier rolled over to her. "Hey, Twilight. What are you doing here?" She turned around and Glacier saw her poofy mane after Rainbow Dash's world-famous Rainblow Dry. Twilight blushed hard. "Twilight, am I interrupting something?"
"Oh, of course not. Just looking like a bush, that's all." She said sarcastically. "What are you actually doing here?"
"The princess sent me over to make friends. I warned her about Nightmare Moon's return, but she didn't listen. I'm going to prove that tonight."
"Oh. Guess I'll see you at the celebration, then." She started to roll away, until Rainbow Dash stopped her wheelchair. "What are you doing? Let go!"
"I'm Rainbow Dash. Who are you?"
"My name is Glacier."
"You look...different."
"O...kay?"
"How well do you fly?"
"Pretty well."
"I'd like to see that." Glacier slowly got up from her chair and stood on the ground. "Glacier, I thought you were..."
"I did an ice spell on my wing and back to speed up the healing process. It'll stop pain for a while." She slowly took a step. And another. "I don't know how long this'll last. I'll make the most of it." She took off, the air taking her wings and lifting her into the sun. She shut her wings, and embraced her last few seconds of airtime. She gazed at the horizon, and then plummeted down. "She's not stopping! She's going to get hurt!" Rainbow Dash nearly yelled. She quickly corkscrewed and somersaulted, landing smoothly on the ground. "That went...alright." Rainbow was stunned. "That was amazing!" She stretched and yawned, and she suddenly froze. "Is something wrong?"
"I can't...exactly move. My back just tensed up." She tried standing normally, and it felt like she had a huge cramp. Rainbow landed and hit her hoof on her back. It immediately fixed it. "It...feels better now! Thank you." She took a step, but this time it hurt. "I think that time is over. I'm back in the wheelchair. It was nice to have that freedom I haven't had in a while." She got back on her chair. "It was nice meeting you, Glacier."
"You two, Dash." She rolls away and bumps into Thunder. "Oh, hello."
"Sorry, ma'am."
"Why the formalities?"
"We haven't exactly talked and became friends yet, and I'm on duty right now. I have a break in a few, do you wanna..."
"Yes, I'll hang out with you."
"T-thanks." He walked away. "That silly stallion." She returned to Celestia's hotel that she was staying in during the 3-day event, and knocked on the door. "Oh, hello. You know, you didn't need to knock." She walked in. "When it comes to royalty, ponies really outdo themselves."
"They do. Maybe they're doing it so they get good luck or something." She went to a platform and started lowering the sun. "Just a few more hours."
"Oh, okay. I'm gonna go explore a little bit." She trotted out, and past the guards at the door. One of them was Thunder. "Hey, Thunder."
"H-hi." The guard next to him jabbed him in his side. "Stay on guard and keep quiet."
"Jeez! Okay!" He looked back at Glacier. "Sorry about him. Silver Blade can be a little daunting. My shift ends in an hour, wanna go eat then?"
"Of course." He smiled, until they heard a shriek. Glacier ran (or rolled) into the room, to find Celestia gone. "Celestia...she's gone!" Glacier walked out to the balcony and sniffed the air. "That way. Half mile."
"How did you do that?"
"Later." They both ran in that direction, with Silver staying behind to see if the pony-napper came back. While they were running, something happened that made Glacier stop in her tracks. "What's wrong?"
"Something happened...I-I-I can't pick up her scent anymore! It's like she disappeared."
"I have an idea."
"What?"
"Whoever took her Highness must of disliked her, right?"
"Of course."
"So maybe he or she will show up when she's supposed to raise the sun."
"Good thinking. So we just wait it out?"
"Exactly." They waited for a minute, then looked at each other. "Wanna go get dinner?"
"Yeah." They went to a nearby restaurant. "You can't tell anypony about this. It'll, no doubt, cause panic." She nodded. Thunder ordered a baked hay sandwich with oat fries, and Glacier ordered some oat fries with gravy (not meat gravy). She took a bite of a fry, and dropped a little piece on her chest. "Glacier, you-" She swallowed and looked up into his eyes. He stared back, blushing and silent. She turned as red as an apple and looked away. Thunder put his hoof on hers. "It's nothing important." He smiled at her, and she looked back up. Thunder noticed something. "Your eyes...they're so beautiful. That yellow..."
"T-thanks." She was shocked. "This can't be happening. I don't like him! Well, I thought I didn't." She thought. "I was thinking-" Their words combined. "You go first." Thunder offered. (Thunder used kindness! Glacier attacked with blush! Lol)
"I was thinking...it's getting pretty late. The sun will come up in about 7 hours. Maybe we should go rest or something, at least for 4 hours or so."
"Good idea. All the guards got a hotel room. We can chill there."
"Chill? Wow."
"Whatever. Let's just go." They went back to the hotel, and into the room. Thunder took off his armor and collapsed on the bed. Glacier crawled in next to him. "Such a peaceful night."
"You remind me of stars."
"How so?"
"Your blue coat reminds me of their icy heat, and your eyes remind me of that radiant light." She smiled. "You remind me of a thunderstorm." He was slightly confused. "Your coat reminds me of the dark clouds rolling in and your mane reminds me of the lightning coming, and your deep orange eyes remind me of being safe inside with somepony I love."
"You..." She smiled. "I...love you too." He said. They dozed off until they heard shrieks. They immediately got up, prepared themselves, and ran outside. A mysterious figure was terrorizing Ponyville and was approaching the Everfree Forest. Thunder and Glacier silently followed. Before the figure entered the forest, Glacier signaled for Thunder to stay behind. "Wait, Glacier! You can't do this by yourself!"
"Please. Just trust me."
"Fine...just don't hurt yourself." She nodded, and ran towards the figure. "Stop!" The shadow looked at her. "What makes you think you can stop me, Nightmare Moon?" She gasped. "Nightmare Moon?"
"Correct."
"What did you do to her?" She asked quietly. "Pardon?"
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!" She was furious, and her eyes glowed white. "Oh, Celestia? She's on the sun. She needs to experience the pain and punishment that she caused upon me." She lowered her head, and Nightmare Moon started to walk away. "Fight me, you COWARD!" She laughed. "A handicapped pony is challenging me? That's so amusing. But, if you insist..." They charged at each other, and instead of attacking, Glacier jumped out of her chair. Nightmare wheeled around to face her, and Glacier stomped on the ground and turned it to ice. She stomped again, and broke some of it. She was levitating icicles next to her. Glacier paused, took a deep breath, and shot them towards her. She was pinned to a tree. "Release me!"
"No. You better bring her back!"
"You can't make me." She lunged forward a few times, and was freed from the icicles. "Fair battle. Now it's my turn." The nightmare summoned a sword and charged. Glacier summoned an ice blade, and did the same. She got a good hit on Nightmare Moon, but she did too. Glacier had a cut in her ribcage, and the damage Nightmare Moon received was already healed. "There's no point in conversing with peasants." She ran into the forest as a shadow, and Thunder ran over to her. "Sweet Celestia, are you alright?"
"I'm fine. At least I stalled her."
"B-b-but how did you do that? When I first saw you, I saw that you had cracked your gem and came to investigate. That's why I changed my mind and introduced myself to you. I thought I was the last crystophonyx."
"You're a..." He nodded. "Lightning. My powers have been disabled for a while." Twilight and her new friends ran over to her. "Glacier! I found out what...oh no." She noticed the bleeding gash in her ribcage. "I know. Nightmare Moon. Go! I stalled her." She nodded, and they ran in. Thunder smiled at her and helped her up. "I feel like they have this covered. Let's go." He started to move her towards her wheelchair. "Wait, Thunder, I don't need that. I can walk fine, but it's just my left side that hurts. That was the side that she got me in."
"Okay." Thunder put her on his back, and took off.

A/N: This took SO long because I had school and was uber busy today (Saturday, January 16, 2016)
Surry my little Kiwi Nashi Boo!

By the way, I might have forgotten to mention this. Nyxes are shapeshifters (just animals), and have the ability of most animals, like speed, eyesight, and smell. I'm not checking everything over again for spelling errors or anything. Too much work.
