Part 5-Getting Used to This

The group of three ponies, a pegasus and two alicorns, were traveling home. When they got there, many ponies were shocked by Glacier's new, regal appearance. She went to her room, as usual. "Thunder! What happened?" Silver Blade asked, concerned. "Wow. I didn't know you cared. Anyways, I was protecting Glacier and got some cuts and gashes. The usual. Glacier was turned into an alicorn by the princess. The average day."
"What?! An alicorn! So she's a princess?"
"She's the official Winter Guardian, so she's not a princess, but still has to be respected."
"Can I go see her?"
"Leaving your post. Shame, shame, shame."
"Her room is across the hallway!"
"Whatever." He peeked inside the room, and saw Glacier staring in the mirror, observing her new appearance. She opened her large wings, and flipped her longer mane. She saw Silver in the mirror. "What are you doing?" She asked. "Nothing, ma'am!" He didn't want to turned into an iceberg. "What, did you think I'd turn you into an iceberg?" She almost literally read his mind. "N-no!" He lied. "Do you think I could?"
"Of course, and I do not wish for that to happen to me. Shall I leave?"
"I couldn't care less if you left or stayed."
"Then I'll just leave." He walked back to his post. "Well, that was interesting."
"She seems...different. Like she's more wise. More beautiful."
"Are you saying that you looove her?"
"We may or may not be dating."
"Wow. Just don't get distracted from your duties, got it?"
"You're always too busy for this type of thing." He turned around and saw her standing behind him. "AHH! Oh, uh, ahem. Hi." Glacier giggled. "Is it winter time yet? I've been waiting for SO long."
"It's November. Just another month."
"A month is a lifetime."
"You're just impatient."
"Sometimes you just need to get your powers out, but you can't send the weather spiraling into chaos."
"My powers have been disabled for years. I wouldn't know."
"What about those energy charges?"
"They're only temporary. Just for about a minute."
"Whatever. I'm going somewhere else." She bumped into Luna in the hallway. "Oh, sorry, Princess." She quickly picked up the scrolls she was carrying. "I really need to learn levitating..." She muttered. "Apologies, Glacier. We have just-AHHH! Sweet midnight, what has happened?! You have grown a h-h-h-horn!"
"Yeah, that happened earlier. Celestia did it."
"You know...we could teach you things."
"I could teach you the ways of the modern time, too! First of all, we don't use the 'thou' and 'thy' thing anymore. And we don't address ourselves as 'we'."
"My dear, I have already inferred that. I actually meant 'we'. The royal 'we'. Me and my sister."
"Oh, sorry. Wait, REALLY?!"
"Of course. You are now an alicorn, are you not? So now you must learn the ways."
"Ooh...the ways." She said, dramatically. Luna giggled a bit, much to Glacier's surprise. "We shall. I will lend you a book of spells to get you started. We will start training in two days time, and you must at least be able to attempt levitation. And be cautious with your...powers. They might be enhanced, harder to control."
"Yes ma'am! Or princess. Which do you prefer?"
"Luna."
"Oh, alright. Thanks, Luna!" She said, trotting off. She needed to find Twilight so she could borrow some books. Glacier took off into the air, nearly falling. Her flying had been enhanced, and she had forgotten about that.

She carefully flew to Ponyville, looking for Twilight's treehouse. Many ponies gasped at her appearance, moving out of her way. She knocked on Twilight's door, and she quickly opened it. "Hello, welcome to...Glacier, what happened?!" She sighed. Glacier hated explaining this situation. "Celestia turned me into the prophesied Winter Guardian. I need to learn more about my duties and magic."
"You should come inside."

Sorry it's a bit short, I just wanted to get an update out there. I haven't updated in soooooooooooooooooooo long!
