The past two weeks have been more of a blur. Liam couldn't go past the judge's house in the X-factor; I ended up twisting my ankle because of Merritt's stupid idea about jumping off a tree; and losing my phone at the mall. Things couldn't have gotten any worse until Merritt showed up at my house saying she wouldn't be here

I stared up at my ceiling as I lie in bed thinking about what to do. Maybe I should see if Liam sent me an e-mail or something. I pulled out my Mac and saw that there were no emails from Liam. The last time I heard from Liam was when he sent me the letter saying he was going to be on x-factor. I ended up logging into facebook since I had nothing better to do. About 20 minutes later, someone knocked on my door.

"Come in" I kind of yelled because my door was so far away because I had a big room. My mom walked into the room smiling at me. She seems a bit too happy.

"What's on your mind Mum?" I asked looking into her chocolate eyes curiously

"make yourself look presentable love, we're having some guests over today" she said still smiling.

I narrowed my eyes at her because of the way she was smiling. She was obviously hiding something.

"Mum" I asked in kind of a warning tone "why are you smiling like that?"l

She let out a chuckle and walked out. Okay, that was weird. I looked at myself in the floor length mirror. I seriously need to make myself look better. My hair was in a very messy bun, I was wearing short shorts and a tank top and I wasn't wearing any makeup. Almost everyone told me I didn't need makeup but I felt like I did.

I decided on wearing white shorts with a dark blue top. I ended up leaving my waist length hair in its natural waves because I just loved my hair the way it was. I put on some mascara eyeliner and lip gloss. By the time I was ready I hear the doorbell ring. I checked myself in the mirror one last time and walked out of my room. There were 4 rooms upstairs in my house. One room belonged to my parents, one room was mine and the other two were guest rooms. Grandma usually stays in one of them but right now it was empty.

I walked down the stairs and hear some familiar voices. Wait, it can't be.... I ran down as fast as I could almost tripping on the last stair and ran into the sitting area. I just stand there staring into those familiar brown eyes.

I couldn't believe my eyes. There he was, standing in front of me, my best friend Liam Payne smiling at me... This has to be a dream.

Why am I having such a hard time believing this?

I pushed my thoughts away and ran up to him. I poked his cheek Just to make sure he was real and smiled. He smiled back and opened his arms in which I happily walked into and gave him the biggest bear hug. I hadn't seen him in about four years and now here he was in Miami, at my house.

"Hey I really missed you" he whispered to me.

"Me too Liam" I replied with a huge grin on my face.

After meeting everyone Liam and I went upstairs to my room. As soon as we entered my room Liam sat down on my small bed and I sat across from him.

"You've grown since the last time I saw you" Liam said smiling at me.

"Liam, the last time you saw me was like when I was nine. Obviously I've grown" I said grinning.

"But you didn't look as tall on Skype" he said eyeing me once more.

"Liam, everyone looks different in reality.... Sort of" I added

Liam chucked and said he needed to use the restroom so I was in my room alone again. I stared at the wall thinking about the time when I lived in England.

*Flashback*

"Come on baby girl, lets go to mummy's friends house" my mum said holding my hand and leading me out the front door.

"Okay mummy" I giggled as I sat in the back seat of the car.

The drive was short and soon mum and I arrived at a beautiful house with a huge garden.

The sunny day made it look like a house in one of the stories daddy reads to me.

My mum took my small hand in hers and started walking up to the front door.

Before she knocked she bent down and fixed my dark wavy hair and my dress.

"Be a good little girl, okay" my mum kissed my forehead and knocked on the door.

A tall woman opened the door and smiled at us politely. My mum and her "friend" hugged and said hello before they turned to me.

"Hello!" I cheerily said

"Hello love! Call me Karen! What your name?" She said

"I'm meranda"

"We'll it's a pleasure to meet you" said Karen and let us into the house.

A few minutes, a boy with blondish hair walked into the sitting area where we were seated. I looked at him and gave him a warm smile

"Liam this is Meranda, Meranda this is Liam, my son" Karen introduced as Liam gave a small smile.

"Why don't you kids go play" my mum said and I got up and walked towards Liam.

"Hi" he said in a small

"Hello" I simply replied

We walked towards his room in silence. As we say down on his bed I looked around. This boy sure did like Toy Story. Because of his bed sheets and toys you could easily tell.

"How old are you" Liam asked

"I just turned 3 in January. How about you? I asked. I always asked too many questions

"I'm turning 5 this August" he said proudly

"So what do you want to do?" He asked after a minute or so of silence

"Anything you want to" I smiled

" do you want to watch a movie?" He sheepishly asked

"Sure! What movies do you have"

"Ummm, well do you wanna watch The Lion King?"

"YES! That's my favorite movie" I practically screamed!

He laughed a little

"I like you. You're nice" he said simply. But what I didn't know was that it was a start if a great friendship

*Flashback over*

"Earth to Meranda"

It was Liam waving his hand in front of my face. He grinned at me and say down on the bed once more.

"Daydreaming?" He asked grinning

"No... Just thinking about the day we met" I smiled at the thought

"It's been so long Liam" I said as he nodded.
