Give Me Time

Chapter 4

I walked hand in hand with my boyfriend Nathan as we walked back home. He's been my boyfriend for about two months now and was the most amazing boy on the planet.

It was a warm day for November but then again, I'm living in Miami, Florida.

"Hey, are you okay" Nathan asked worriedly

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired because I didn't get that much sleep last night" I smiled at him.

Soon enough, we were in from of my house. I turned around to look at Nathan. He had dark chocolate eyes and his hair was a shade somewhere between golden and brown. He was about 6 feet tall and was absolutely gorgeous. He was actually the most popular guy I'm school!

"So I'll see you later Meranda" he smiled down at me

"Thanks Nathan" I said giving him a hug as he kissed my cheek and left.

I noticed my mum sleeping on the couch as I walked inside. She looked very tired and I couldn't blame her. No one in this house was exactly getting any sleep because of my baby sister who was only born last month. She would cry at times but she was the cutest thing ever.

I quietly walked upstairs into my sisters nursery. She was asleep and looked so peacefull. I smiled at the sight of my baby sister.

"I love you Annalise" I whispered kissing her forehead. She was so tiny! Maybe because she was a premature baby.

I usually called her Anna or Annie but today was an exception. I tiptoed out if her room and walked into my huge bedroom! It was now covered in posters and lights. I changed into some sweats and a tank top and put my hair in a bun.

I jumped on my bed and stared at the wall. So much has happend this year! My 15th birthday, Liam auditioning for the x-factor again but this time without telling me, my baby sister coming into this world and seeing my twin on x-factor in boy form who now happens to be in the same band as Liam.

*Flashback*

Merritt and I sat lazily on the couch with a can of soda and popcorn. We were watching The Xtra Factor which we never actually watch. The host was giving highlights of new auditions in the x-factor when a boy appeard on the screen. Just looking at this boy, Merritt and I both shot up from our seats. He was no older than 17 and resembled me so much it was scary. The same eyes and the same hair and basically me but in boy form. His voice was hevenly and after he got through I just st down staring at the screen. Through the corner of my eye, I saw Merritt look at me.

"Meranda, that boy looked so much line you, it's almost as if he was your brother" she said to me. I was confused, I didn't have a brother.

*Flashback over*

My phone buzzed beside me indicating I received a text.

From Liam, To Meranda

Wanna Skype?

I smiled at the text. And replied with a yes. I soon logged into Skype and Noticed Liam was already online. I clicked the green "video call" button hoping for the best.

Me and Liam have been talking for about an hour now and he just excused himself to use the restroom.

The door of my room opened and my mom walked in holding Annie in her arms.

"Who is it" my mum asked bouncing Annie

"It's Liam mum" I replied.

She smiled and nodded walking out of the room and closing the door. Liam was back, but this time in a hoodie.

"So, whats new" he said casually

" nothing much Liam, How about you" I asked

I heard a click and Liam's eyes moved above the screen. I heard some mumbling and then Liam spoke up.

"Meranda, I want you to meet one of my bandmates"

I smiled at this because I've been waiting for this for a long while. As the boy came into view, my jaw dropped and so did his. He was the one who looked like me, the one with dark eyes and dark hair.

"Meranda, meet Zayn Malik, My bandmate and friend" Liam said

Zayn looked shocked and I wouldn't blame him...

"Hi" I said barely audible. I was a shy one

"Hey"

Well, this is awkward. LIAM HELP!

"You know I always thought you two looked alike, it's actually scary sometimes" Liam smiled

"Yea, I guess we do" zayn spoke up for like the first time. I smiled at this.

Liam's phone rang and he answered it as me and zayn sat there in silence. Liam's smile turned into a frown and he ended the call.

"Hey, umm, Meranda, we have to meet up with Simon in about 10 minutes so ... Ummm... I'll talk to you when I get the chance" Liam smiled sadly.

"It's fine, I'll talk to you guys later then yea?"

" sure" Liam replied looking at zayn

"Yea, I guess I ummm, I'll see you around."

Zayn smiled for the first time. That smile was so similar to mine

We said good bye and that night all I could think of was Zayn.
