Give Me Time

Chapter 5

"Meranda" my mum called from downstairs.

Ugh, why do I have to get up so early again?

"Meranda! Wake up before I come upstairs myself" I heard

I groaned and finally decided to get up. I walked toward the mirror and my hair was a mess.

"Meranda" my mum threatened

"I'm awake mum and I'm going to take a shower" I yelled back annoyed

She honestly treats me like I'm a four year old.

I step into the shower and relax as the warm water touches my body. I quickly wash my hair and within 5 minutes, I'm out of the shower. I walk into my room which is now filled with posters of Liam's band called One Direction. I got to get their album Up All Night on my 17th birthday which was this past January.

I stop dead I'm my tracks and then run to my phone.

July 17, 2012

OMG! Today's the day I get to hang out with one direction and go to their concert. Today's the day I finally get to meet the boys in person! I finally get to hug Liam after forever.

I quickly got dressed in shorts that had a few rips and a red sleeveless button up. I curled my hair and did my makeup. I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs where my mum was trying to feed Annie some apple sauce.

"Someone looks quite happy" I heard my mum say

"I'm so excited for today's concert and all!" I squealed.

I quickly ate some cereal as I texted Merritt to come over. She was going to the concert with me and thank you to my best friend Liam, we didn't have to buy tickets.

He said their bodyguard would pick us up at my place at ten It was now about nine thirty and Merritt has not showed up.

I spoke too soon because just then the doorbell rang and in walked Merritt. She was wearing a stripped t-shirt and red pants, basically, she was louis. I smiled at her and motioned for her to sit next to me.

"I was just thinking about you" I said with a mouth full of cereal

"In a good way or in a bad way?" She asked looking over at me.

I rolled my eyes and grinned at her. Annie was now literally covered in apple sauce, she looked kinda cute

"Awwww, look at her" Merritt cooed as I put my plate in the sink. Merritt loved Annie like a sister.

At about 9:45 the door bell rang so Merritt and I ran outside to see a black car with blacked out windows. A tall man was standing next to the car and he smiled as he saw us.

"I'm Paul and I'm One Directions bodyguard" he said with a very strong Irish accent

Merritt got a bit too excited and started running around

"I'm in the right place right"

"Yup" I grinned "hold on I have to go say bye to my mum" I said as I ran inside. I gave Annie and mum a kiss on their cheek and left. Merritt was already seated in the car and as I sat down, my phone buzzed In my pocket

did you already leave?

I texted him that I'd meet him tomorrow because I'd doubt I'd see him today. Minutes later, I recived another text but this time it was from Liam asking if Paul found my house.

Yeah, we are on our way

I looked out the window as I thought about meeting my twin in person, about meeting Zayn.
