"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" I woke up to my best friend, Abby screaming.

"Abigail Skylar! What is so important that you woke me up at 9:00 am?" I asked. She just pointed to the hugest mother effing spider I had ever seen in my entire life.

"One. Two. Three." I said, before we both screamed, "ADAM!!" In seconds, Abby's older brother, Adam, is in the room with us, in nothing but boxers, might I add. I immediately smacked my hand over my eyes.

"WHY, GOD, WHY THE MORNING OF HORRORS?" I asked. I look at Adam like a brother, and I DON'T want to see ANY of that.

"Why did you two scream for me- HOLY F-FUDGE, THAT IS THE BIGGEST SPIDER I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!" he exclaimed.

"What are you waiting for? KILL IT!" Abby commanded.

"I don't know, I thought we might keep it as a pet." he said. Abby and I stared at him in horror. Abby and I aren't scaredy cats. We just are terrified of spiders. "Kidding, Abby pass my your shoe." he said, and if you thought the look of horror she had on her face before was bad, now she had a look of disgust.

"No way! Use one of your stinky Martins." she said. He shrugged and headed for the door of our bedroom.

"NO! I mean, don't leave us with it. Here." I said as I tossed him an old issue of Seventeen Magazine. He squished it and picked up the gross body. I ran out of the bedroom to get some food. I filled up my bowl with Cocoa Puffs and sat down to watch cartoons.

Okay, I know what your thinking. Why do I live with my best friend and her brother? I have a very good explanation. I was too broke to move into my own place, so I moved in here with Abby.

Again, I know what your thinking. I'm a twenty year old girl, if I can't afford a place, why don't I just live with the good old 'rents. I have my reasons.

Well, I may as well introduce myself. I'm Aleeah Anderson, of Dallas, Texas, but I don't have an accent. In fact, almost nobody does in Dallas. I was born and raised here.

"Abby, what day is today?" I asked her as she sat down next to me with her own bowl of Cocoa Puffs.

"The thirteenth, why?" she asked and I beamed and I could tell my deep dimples were showing.

"Today's the day!" I said and held out my hand to her. She raised an eyebrow.

"YOUR PHONE! You promised that today you would let me use your phone so I have better chances of spending the summer with my favoritest band of all time." I explained.

"A: Favoritest isn't a word and B: I don't remember agreeing to that!" she said. I just pulled out my phone with a sneaky grin on my face. I went to my voice memos app and pressed the play button.

"So, do you, Abigail May Skylar, agree to let me use your phone on April 13th, for the Ellen DeGeneres call-in competition?" My voice rang out through the phone.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, sure whatever." Abby's voice answered sleepily. I may or may not have done this when she was half asleep.

"I don't remember saying that, but, since it is my voice, I'll give you my phone." she conceded and I happily took it from her. I skipped off. One down, one to go. I walked down the hall to dear, dear Adam's room. I knocked.

"What?" his voiced asked. I swung open the door.

"Now, that's not a very nice way to answer the door, is it? I think a simple "Who is it?" would suffice." I said to him and he rolled his eyes.

"What do you want, Aleeah?" he asked. I faked offence.

"Couldn't a girl just want to hang with the brother that she always wanted?" I asked.

"No, you always have an ulterior motive. Besides, you already have a brother." he said.

"That's beside the point. Give it up." I commanded while holding my hand out.

"Give what up? You know what, I really need to start locking my door." he said and I simply rolled my eyes.

"Adam, I guess I'll just have to jog your memory." I said as I grabbed my phone for the second time this morning. Yet again, I went into my voice memos app, but, this time I clicked on a different, longer recording. You could hear the shower going in the background.

"Adam, I need to ask you something." my voice said.

"Aleeah?! What the hell are you doing in here. I'm taking a shower!" his voice responded.

"I hadn't noticed!" my voice said sarcastically. "I need to ask you a question!"

"Aleeah, get out!" his commanded.

"Not until I ask you the question!" my voice said, getting annoyed.

"Fine, what is it?" his voice asked.

"I need to use your phone for a call in on the thirteenth. Is that okay?" my voice asked.

'What? No!" his voice said.

"Okay, let me rephrase. Let me use your phone on April thirteenth or else I'll flush this toilet. Three, two, o-" but my voice was cut off.

"FINE!" his voice yelled. I ended the recording and looked up at him. He looked pissed.

"Do you know what day it is today, Adam?" I asked.

"Fine, take it." he said and I cheered. He handed me his phone.

"That was easier than I thought!" I exclaimed.

Now to watch the Sponge Bob marathon until Ellen came on.

Have a little fun, today

The Ellen theme song rang through the empty apartment. Adam and Abby had both gone out.

I was practically bouncing up and down on the couch I was shaking so bad from excitement.

"Before we start the show, I need to give out a number!" Ellen said and I grabbed all three phones.

"The number is 800-003-NIALL" she said and I already had it dialed on all three phones before she said Niall.

"You have reached the 1D contest hot line. What's your name?" the person, not computer, said on one of the phones.

"'Aleeah Anderson of Dallas, Texas!" I squealed.

"Thank you for entering, Aleeah!" the man said before hanging up. I repeated this two more times. Well, I guess the rest is up to fate.
