Junior year

Its safe to say that junior year has been pretty normal thus far we haven't had really any time for drama to happen considering its December and almost Christmas break. We all came back together and reformed the squad though a few things have changed over the summer and some have just come into realization in the past couple of weeks. It was December 1,24 And we were all sitting at our table when....
"24 24 24 dayyys tell Christmas" I said as I slipped in to my usual spot between Jackson and Summer.
" uggh counting down already" Summer sighed "just wait tell February my little friend" I said patting her head. Once everyone was seated we complained about teachers, homework the usual but a hurricane was about to change everything. Literally though the group of girls that hated me and most of my girl friends are called hurricane , and they were making their way over her.

"Hey everybody,"Kaitlin said we all glared well almost everybody

"hey ging," she said walking over and kissing Shawn on the check. Jack(Jackson) hand reached over and squeezed my leg. He was trying to keep me strong. You see Kaitlin is my ex Bff who ditched me for no reason, I tried to talk to her but she didn't have any interest so now her goal is to "make my life miserable just like I did to hers." Now she is filtering, wait, dating, I don't know what it is. What ever it is its with my crush

"Katie I was just about to tell them you ruined the surprise." Shawn said reaching over and grabbing 'Katie's' hand. Barf in my mouth.

"Oh I did. Whoopsy." She giggled. Now just picture her voice snotty & popular girl.

"What surprise?" Lacey asks.

"Me and Katie have been going out since November and we were waiting tell the right time to tell you." He stated and scooted over so she could sit down, dismissing her posy to go sit somewhere else. At this Jack grabbed my hand and squeezed it. He is the only one that knows. Everyone else is congratulating them, and me and Jack are just sitting there.

"Well I'm done so excuse me. " I said grabbing my half full tray, and throwing it away and walking to the commons. I had lost my appetite. How can he date Kaitlin he knows what she did to me what she is still doing to me. I just UGGGGGG!!!!!!!! Wait! Kaitlin is one of the most popular girls besides the cheerleaders and Shawn is the principal's son. Ugh how could I be so stupid. Its like Abigail and Luke ( head cheerleader and quarterback) its what the student body wants for their new "it" couple. When I woke up from my thoughts I had wandered over to my hidden spot. It was behind the cubicles were people could but their books. It was a pretty big space but it was covers by a curtain that looked like wood. I went in and just sat there. Thinking, tearing up. All of the sudden Jack walks in. Right then I had my sweater sleeve over my hands and burying my face in them with my knees to my chest. Jack came and sat next to me. He pulled my hands away from my face and lifted my chin so I could look at him. He wiped away a few stray tears. "how could I have been so stupid!?" I confess " I don't even know why I'm crying its not like he even knew, it was just I crush!?" I babble out. Jack looks at me sympathetically. And with that I hug him and just let it out.
