Its been a week since Shawn told us he was dating Kaitlin.
"Its now 17 days tell Christmas." I tell Summer as we walk to science.
"Seriously Des! Are you gonna tell me everyday." She jokingly complains.
"Yes. yes I am." I say proudly and speed walk the rest of the way to class. Today was a mostly uneventful day and it stayed like that tell after school. I was walking up to my car with Shawn and Shawn's friend Matt. Shawn was giving Matt a ride home so I hugged them and said goodbye and went to my car what I didn't know was that Kaitlin was following me.
"So, what's up little brat." She says walking up next to me. I don't respond but I speed up seeing my car in sight. Mac, one of Kaitlin goons, comes up on my other side .
"Yay answer the question" she says. I'm at my car now. I go to get in when. Sid, her other goon, shows up and the push me up against my car.
"Answer the question!" Kaitlin say
I had lost it now.
"What did I ever do to you!" I shouted. I tried to apologize I did everything! SO WHY!!! WHY DID YOU DITCH ME!!" I shout, more quietly I say,"why do you make my life miserable sometimes."
"Only sometimes? my goal is all the time!" She cackles. I look away trying to get the door open. Before one of them could grab it. Jack came running up, and they ran away faster than a cheetah.
"Hey!" Jack shouts and runs up to me.
"Are you okay? "He asks. He grabs my shoulders and lifts up my chin, so that I'm facing him and looking at him.
"No, not really." I whimper. Right then, Summer, Iz, Lacey and Zach run up.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Iz asks.
"Nothing just hurricane." I sigh
"Oh....." they all say together.
"Hey let's all go to Red Robin." Zach said.
"Yay okay." we all agreed. Everyone went to there cars.
"Um....jack....could you ride with me." I ask shyly shifting my feet.
"Of course, I'll just tell my sis she can take the car." He says.
"But I drive." He added I tossed him the keys and got in. As we drove I told Jack something completely random but true.
"I don't like Shawn anymore but he is still my friend so it doesn't make it anymore okay." I say we looking out the window.
" Good" Jack says and pays my arm. Thank goodness for friends like him. I continue to look out the window while Jack turns the radio on its One Directions Baby let me love you goodbye I hum along until we get to our destination.Red robin was good their fries make everything better and also a good root beer float to numb the pain.
