"You!" Barbara snarled, kicking Talon.
"Aren't you just the little spitfire?" He smirked.
"You might've been my friend once, but now you're no more than a faceless Talon.' She spat. The cowl was disguising her hot tears. Talon couldn't help but be hurt by her words. He knew he would eventually have to confront her, but that didn't mean he was looking forward to it.
"You were holding me back! Stopping me from being my best!" Talon yelled.
"Is that what they told you? That you could be better?" She screamed. "Dick, you were by far our best fighter. And then you had people who cared about you. Now what are you? An assassin for people who don't have any consideration except for themselves. Is that really how you want to be remembered?" Barbara's words made Talon hesitate. Did he want to hurt his family? His brothers? His friends? No. But the court-
Talon's thoughts were interrupted by the remains of his former team landing on the roof.
"You have to let us help you." Barbara held out her hand.
"No. You could've saved me. But you didn't." He spat.
"If that's how you feel, then-" She must've switched to the psychic link, because before Barbara could finish, the entire Team attacked Talon. But he was better than before. Much better.
When Cassie aimed a punch at him, he caught it and used her strength to throw her in the floor, unconscious. M'gann attempted to disable him through his mind, but the pain he had inside reflected onto her.
Talon was avoiding Barbara. He didn't want to hurt her. He didn't want to hurt any of them really, but the Court was his master now.
Artemis was shooting non-stop arrows at Talon, but he caught each and every one, directing them back at her.
The electricity from Virgil was simply stunning anyone who came into contact with Talon, so Conner was lying next to Cassie.
"We'll finish this another time." Talon said, jumping over Barbara and off the building.

Talon sat on his white bed in his room at the Court's headquarters. He couldn't stop thinking about Barbara. How was he supposed to kill her? How was he supposed to kill any of them? The Court's training clouded his thoughts again, and a plan began formulating in his mind.

"Bruce, we can't keep acting like this isn't a huge problem." Jason, Barbara, Tim and Damian all confronted their mentor.

"I'm not." He growled.

"He took out Superboy and Wondergirl. That's virtually impossible for a normal human without Kryptonite." Tim added. "He's obviously been through intense training."
"And he wouldn't shut up about 'being better' and us 'holding him back'." Barbara huffed. Bruce stood up.

"He's become unpredictable. We can only wait for him to confront us." He said, before walking away like it was nothing. The group stood there for a moment.

"Did anyone notice anything? A weakness we can use against him?" Tim asked. Damian pulled up some footage of when Barbara was talking to Talon.
"He hesitated when Gordon reminded him of who he once was. He obviously has some sort of remains of his old memories." He said.

"We can't give him a counselling session if he's trying to kill us, Demon." Jason folded his arms. "Guess we just wait for him to come to us."

Barbara lay on her stomach, looking at a photo she kept on her bedside table of her and Dick. Before everyone else. Just Batgirl and Robin, and their endless sarcastic lines.
"You've really messed up this time, Boy Blunder." She smirked to herself sadly.
