The encounters with Talon were getting more and more violent. A week after the Team's initial confrontation, Jason came back to the cave with a broken nose, twisted ankle and three cracked ribs. The day after that...let's just say that Damian's arm is going to be in a cast for six weeks.
Nearly every Bat had been severely injured by Talon, except Barbara. He couldn't bring himself to give her anymore pain, if she's going to be killed in a matter of days. But there was one thing he could do to save her.

"I didn't come to fight." Talon said, sitting down next to Barbara on the Wayne Enterprises building.

"Then why did you come?" She asked carefully. This could all be a ploy to give her a false sense of security. Her hand rested on her belt, ready in case he attacked.
"I..." He didn't want this to end. "I just wanted to hang out." He lied.
"Dick-NightWing-Talon, whatever. You're...you're not you anymore." Barbara allowed herself to release some of her emotions. But there was no way she was going to cry in front of this sick, demented version of her friend. "You let the Court take you and torment you. Turn you into a robot to do their bidding. I miss the old Richard Grayson." It was getting harder and harder for her not to cry. And something inside Talon was softening, a barrier he out up between his old memories was crashing down.
"Barbara...Babs..." That was the last straw. Barbara collapsed into her knees, and let the tears flow. Talon, no, Dick, wrapped his arms around her. They gazed at the city infront of them for a minute. Dick cupped Barbara's cheek. "It doesn't have to be like this. You could come with me. We could take over the Court. We'd be unstoppable." She shoved him away.

"What?" She screamed, wiping the tears from her cheeks. "You just did all that so I could be part of your personal army?" She stood up. "Now I know why you never take off that stupid mask. You can't face yourself." As Barbara grappled away, trying not to cry, Talon looked down. For a moment, he was Dick again. But it was just that. A moment.
