Adopted by Them?!

Chapter 1: Disapointing News

(Maggie's P.O.V)

"Come down for breakfast, or you'll have to wait till lunch!" Demanded Mrs. Becks

"Ugh, I'm so tired!" I said rolling out of bed and falling onto the floor

"Well, you'll have to wait till lunch then" Tori said giggling

Then I stood up rubbing my eyes and going to the bathroom, but before I shut I the door I told Tori "wait for me" and then walked in. Once I was done using the bathroom I walked out and didn't see Tori.

"Hmm, that's weird, I thought she was waiting for me." I said walking out

"BOO!!!!!!" Tori said jumping out behind a bookshelf

*Screams bloody murder*

Tori couldn't stop laughing! Why I outta!

"Well-l   a-at  le-least I-I  w-woke you u-pp" Tori said through her laughs

"Who was that?!?" Asks Mrs. Becks from downstairs

Tori stopped laughing then had a worried look on her face, so did I.

Then I heard footsteps and saw Mrs. Becks standing at the door way with an angry look on her face

"No breakfast for you two!" Mrs. Becks said as she walked downstairs

I could care less, I'm too tired.

"Aw I'm sorry Maggie" Tori said putting one hand on my shoulder

"It's fine, it was pretty funny." I said laughing slightly

"Well I'm gonna go get ready for the day then we can play cards" Tori said walking in the bathroom with a toothbrush and some cloths

Me and Tori usually played cards after breakfast. Then we would read a book and take a nap. We didn't do much durning the day, but the kids here never wanted to do anything.
I love Tori, she was the nicest sister in the world. We didn't ever fight, we just always laughed and cried. Tori doesn't laugh at you, she laughs with you and that's what makes her special. I always was thinking about my dad, I wondered if he was alright or not. I was hoping that one day my dad would find me and Tori then take us back home for a normal life.

Then Tori came out of the bathroom, makeup and clothes on.

"I'm gonna go see if I can sneak any food" Tori said giggling

"Be careful" I said watching her walk out of the room.

(Tori's P.O.V)

"Be careful" Maggie said watching me walk out of the room.

I walked downstairs to see some kids still eating, Mrs. Becks went to the bathroom. Perfect. All the kids there gave me mean glares as they watched me sneak food.

"Alright, I'll tell them. Bye." Mrs. Becks said, clearly getting off the phone.

"TORI!" Mrs. Becks said. She didn't notice I was getting food, she only called me so she could tell me something. Hopefully Maggie and I aren't going to get adopted again. We've been adopted about 5 times, each and every time we were hurt in some way or sent back. That's why we never trusted anyone, and you can't blame us right?

I walked into the hall trying to hide the food. Mrs. Becks was there with the phone in her hand.

"Tori, I just got some news." Mrs. Becks said
