(Maggie's POV)

Seriously?! School?! Theres no way, i mean im not smart enough for middle school! Being in an orphanage for several years, you dont learn much except 'No talking back' and 'Be nice' but thats about it. Plus what about bullies? I can guarantee you ill get bullied. Also, fake friends! If people know that Louis is like, my... um, father, every girl would want to be my friend. And only, what, like 3 weeks until then?

Then i remembered something;

My birthday.

I completely forgot about my birthday- in  3 days ill be a teen. Well my birthday doesnt really matter anyways. Its not like the lads would care anyways. So theres nothing to get too exited about, but i dont really know why id get exited. I mean come on, acne, and puberty doesnt sound too exiting does it?

----------------

I looked at Louis.

"I cant." i protested.

(AN/ Only Jimmy can protest!)

"Maggie youll do fine, its a nice school." Louis replied.

"Louis, there will be bullies, mean teachers, fake friend-"

"Fake friends?" Louis cut me off.

I slapped my forehead.

"Louis. If people know that youre my... father, then all the girls will want to be friends with me." i said.

Louis looked confused.

"I dont think so." He replied.

"Reall? you really dont think so?" i said annoyed.

Louis smiled as if he was trying not to laugh.

"you know im right dont you?" I said.

i glared at him.

"Just dont tell them, its that simple." Louis stated.

"Louis you'll be picking me up from school and dropping my off, i dont know how simple itll be." I said.

"And im pretty sure on every social media and magazine people know youre my 'legal guardian' " I added

"Well not many people know what you look like." Louis pointed out.

"Louis." I started, "I have your last name."

"So what? Lots of people have the same name even if they arent related to me." Louis said.

"Not many people in London though." I replied.

"Im sure no one will even think im your legal guardian." Louis told me.

i sighed, "besides since i never went to school in 6th grade; ill be the only person who doesnt know what theyre doing." i changed the subject.

"Maggie youre just assuming these things, im sure youll love middle school. I know that from experience." Louis said.

"But you know i have trust issues, so its gonna be hard." I said sadly.

Louis kneeled down to my height.

"How do you know something will be bad if you havent tried it yet?" He said calmly.

I looked down at the floor.

"Why dont you call me at lunch?" Louis suggested.

I looked back up at him.

"Seriously?"
