(Maggie's POV)

I looked into his evil eyes, his terrifying face. It was Tom. What does he want with me? Why do  some people always have to be like this?

Tom had a tight grip on me. I struggled to get out of his grip but it was no use,  Tom started to drag me out of the flat building, whatever it's called, and we went outside. Once we were outside he dragged me into the street and I kicked him in the.... uh, spot were the sun don't shine, and ran. He shrieked and I was off. Well I started running until I heard him say something.

"Don't-t you want-want to save your sister-r?" Tom croaked.

I turned around quickly, 'He's just messing with you Maggie, ignore him' I said to myself.

"Wh-what about my sister?" I asked.

Tom laughed, "You always seem to want your sister so badly but little did you know I've had her ever since the orphanage moved to London."

I paused for a second and wondered about that time we went to Nando's, I don't remember seeing her eating in there. I'm so stupid! If she wasn't there then where would she be? Riding a zebra, heck no! Tom kidnapped her! Tom could see the terror in my eyes as I fought with myself.

"Hah, you just figured it out. How stupid are you?" Tom made fun of me.

Tom got up and brushed off the pain as if it was nothing. I started to get suspicious about if Tom was telling the truth or not about Tori. You can never trust him, and I mean never.

I looked back around a noticed something,  behind some of the trees, it was a building. I looked inside the building and saw Mrs. Becks and the orphanage kids! The orphanage was right next to the lad's flats and I didn't even notice, only a couple of miles, but I'd consider that closer than California.

I squinted and tried to look in the orphanage. Curse my crappy eyes. I could see the orphanage kids eating breakfast but I didn't see Tori, so Tom was right.

I snapped back and Tom gripped onto my arm.

"What do you want with me?!" I finally yelled.

Oh crap, crap. Why did I say that, Tom was right, I'm so stupid. I can't figure things out for myself and I'm twelve. I should be responsible, I should know how to deal with things. Most twelve year olds my age are responsible and know how to deal with stuff that I haven't even got to.

"I want you to know I have your sister." He smirked.

Then Tom grabbed my arm and started to pull me towards a car but then I heard a loud smash and glass breaking, and I saw Tori come out of the car.

"Tori?"

"Oh my gosh Maggie!"

"You're not getting your sister." Tom said.

I glared at him.

"Tom please just let her go,  you can take me just please let her go." Tori pleaded.

Tom looked at me then back at Tori.

"Fine."

"Tori don't." I replied.

"Maggie I need you to be safe, that's what sisters are for." Tori exclaimed.

"Tori no."

"Maggie I need you to go." Tori demanded.

"Tori I'm your sister, I love you, I can't just leave you here." I told her.

"Maggie if you love me you would go." Tori said.

I don't think that's how it works.

"No."

"Maggie I promise you I'll be fine."  Tori said.

"Alright let me speed the process up a bit, Tori is coming with me and Maggie will leave without a fight. Problem solved and you both suck it up and get over it." Tom chimed in as he let go of my wrist and grabbed Tori's.

"Maggie I can't let you get hurt." Tori said.

Tom started walking.

"No Tori, please." I cried.

"Maggie this won't be the last goodbye I promise you I will see you again." Tori said.

This sounds like she's going to die, she can't die and she won't die. She just means she'll see me again later on in life right?

"Tori I love you." I said.

"I-I love you to-"

Then she walked off.

What have I done? I need to get Tori! I'm such a terrible sister for just letting her go like that.  I started walking, which turned into jogging, which turned into sprinting.

"Tori no!" I cried as I saw her get into the car.

Then Tom drove her away faster than I could ever run.

"Tori."

I covered up my face with my hands.

Where am I going to go? There's nowhere to go. I don't have a home. Mrs. Becks would never take me in. And of course I'm in London which means I could get lost easily.

Then there's Louis.

I thought about for a second, of course he's come looking for me if I ran somewhere else and then I'd get into big trouble. Besides I was on house arrest and I still am.

I started walking to his flat when I noticed this was probably a bad idea yet I kept doing it. I felt the cold morning air start to kick in too. I gripped onto my hoodie trying to absorb body heat. Once I was at the building I walked inside Louis's luxurious flat and saw him in the kitchen and he was on the phone

"Yep that sounds good, thanks you too, bye." Louis said to the phone.

Once he noticed me he smiled and started walking towards me.

"Hey did you get any slee-"

I cut him off my by hugging him tightly and he hugged back after noticed I actually hugged him.

Then I remembered he worked for Tom, or at least that's what Tom said in the letter and that guy will lie. I quickly pulled away and stepped back.

"You okay?" Louis asked.

I nodded quickly.

"Okay well I just got off the phone with your new teacher." Louis replied.

I'm confused, teacher?

"What?"

"I signed you up for school in about 3 weeks from now." Louis explained.

School, what?! I-I mean I knew I was supposed to go the school and everything but I never expected to be in only three weeks! What about bullies, and mean teachers, people will want to be friends with me only because of Louis. Maybe I won't tell them, but how can I go to school?! I'm not smart at all! Time to panic.

// Hey guys sorry for being so inactive lately, I was sick but I know that's not really a good excuse. I will get updated on You & I soon too so don't worry about that!
