Adopted by Them?!

Chapter 2: Putting Up a Fight

(Maggie's P.O.V)

This isn't going to go well.

All I see is one boy with blonde hair. Another with-uh- I'll just call him Rapunzel. Then I see 2 more, one that needs to shave, and another that looks like he's the oldest. That's all I can describe.

"Trust me you-uh, you don't want me-e" I say backing up

Then I backed up to far and nearly fell. Wow Maggie, you've just made yourself look like a fool.

"You alright lad?" Says Rapunzel

WHAT?! They were British?! I mean, there isn't anything wrong with British people but um, I'm in California....

(AN/ Sorry in forgot to mention that Maggie and Tori live in CA)

"Wait , um-m you're British?"I say slowly

"Yep!" Says The blonde one. This time he wasn't British though, he was Irish. Hmm

"Sorry, um but I'm just gonna go upstairs and play some cards with my sister....." I explain awkwardly as I go upstairs

"Pack your bags!!" Mrs. Becks demands

"No" I say- wait! I just talked back to her....

"Maggie, these boys would like to adopt you" Mrs. Becks starts. "SO DO WHAT YOUR TOLD AND PACK YOUR BAGS!!!!" She adds, screaming.

"You see, you don't want me and my sister, we are uh-really mean and uh-yeah. We will eat all your- uh food!" I say trying not to prove that I'm lying

The blondie looks more upset then any of them. Does he-like to eat a lot or something? I dontttt know.

"Your a bad liar" says the one that needs to shave. He smirked and put his hand on my shoulder, i flinched.... THESE GUYS WERE GOING TO KILL ME!!!

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you" He replies taking his hand off my shoulder.

"I-uh gotta-uh go!!" I say running upstairs

These guys were going to abuse me and Tori! They where also going to kill us! There's no way We are going with them!

I ran upstairs blocking out all the voices that told me to stop. Passing all the room doors. Tori and I's room number was 243.

'240, 241, 242. THERE!' I said in my head, passing all the rooms

Then I banged the door open and scared the crap out of Tori.

"You scared the living daylights of me!" Tori said holding her chest.

"Nows not the time Tori! There is 4 guys down there that want us! They are going to abuse us! I'm sure of it! They are like 20 the oldest is probably 24 or something. But 4 men that are 20 don't just adopt you! They can't just DO that!" I explained trying to say it all in one breath

"Okay, we need a plan!" Tori explained

"Hurry! I hear footsteps!!!"

"Okkayyy- uh we should-uh" Tori said trying to think of a plan.

"Okay, run into the bathroom with me and we will lock the door!!!!" Tori explained grabbing my arm and leading me to the bathroom.

We locked the door and tried to think of a plan, but had nothing.

"Tori, I'm scared. I don't want to get adopted, let alone by 20 aged men that will probably abuse us again." I said sniffing

"It's fine, I'll make sure they don't take us." Tori said softly

Then I heard our room door open. It was Mrs. Becks!!!

"What do we do?!" I ask.

"Don't worry, this bathroom door is locked" Tori whispered

"MAGGIE COME OUT IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!" Mrs. Becks said at the top of her lungs

"They can't take us!!" Tori yelled through the bathroom door

"They aren't going to!" Mrs. Becks explains. "They want Maggie, not you Tori!" She adds

Wha-at they wanted me? And only me? NO! They aren't going to take me and only me! There's NO way I'm leaving here, especially without Tori!

"They aren't going to take her!!" Tori said gripping on to me.

"They can if they sign the papers!" Mrs. Becks explained

"IM NOT LEAVING!!!!!" I shout through the door, I didn't care if I talked back. I wasn't leaving.

"YES YOU ARE MAGGIE, NOW COME OUT OR ILL KNOCK OFF THE BATHROOM DOOR!!!" Mrs. Becks says banging on the door

"They can't take me!" I cried to Tori.

"It's okay, I won't let them."Tori said quietly

"What am I going to do?" I say looking to Tori

She had a really worried look on her face, she didn't know what to do.

"Just-uh. You could maybe-uh-" Tori started

"Just let th-hem take m-e" I say starting to cry.

You probably I'm a cry baby for not wanting to be adopted. But I was abused and I'll never trust another living soul again. Other than Tori.

"No, I won't let them" Tori said holding me tighter

"But Mrs.Bec-cks said th-hat if they-y signed-d the papers that-t they can-an take me-e" I told Tori trying not to cry, but man I failed

"Well we will have to put up a fight" Tori explained

Then the door slammed open. How? Wait! Mrs. Becks always has a lock for any door in the orphanage. But Tori was right. We will just have to put up a fight, so I don't have to go!

Once Mrs.Becks came in she grabbed my ear and started pulling me out of the bathroom, I squealed in pain.

"STOP!!!" Tori cried following us and trying to have Mrs.Becks let go of my ear

"You're coming with me missy!" Mrs. Becks said in anger

"No she can't leave!!!" Tori said blocking up the door with her body

Then Mrs. Becks pushed Tori out of the (keeping the grip on my ear) way and locked her in our room.

"No, stop, please!!!!" Tori said through the door

But Mrs. Becks didn't stop, she kept going. Taking me to the men that would abuse me then leave me on the street, without my best friend and sister; Tori.
