Skai had only a day left at Kellys' house. Her room back at her nana's place was literally nothing compared to Kellys' room. Her room was painted in lime green with white stripes. She had a queen sized bed that was so soft, it literally felt like a giant cloud.

Kelly could be compared to a barbie doll. Her closet was huge and packed with clothes shoes and all kinds of things Skai had never seen before.

Kelly arranged her clothing according to colour, stripes and abstract looking ones were all in a section for themselves.

Kelly insisted on Skai borrowing her clothes. Skai had come to the realization that Kelly was not one to beat around the bushes, she told it like it was, she was brutally honest, her exact words when she skimmed over Skai's clothing were 'what are these??? I don't think the salvation army would even glance at these' Skai had felt slightly bad, she knew her clothes weren't exactly to die for, but she didn't think they were that bad.

She thought of random things as kelly rummaged through her closet trying to find 'the perfect outfit' for Skai to wear to the party.

"This one is perf!!" Kelly squealed happily running over to Skai. "Here try this on, it's not too exposing, just like you asked!" She beamed pushing the suit to Skai. It was a green skirt with a black long sleeved mesh top (outfit in media).

Skai reluctantly made her way to the bathroom to try on the clothes. She stared at herself for a while in the huge mirror that covered a whole section of the bathroom wall. "Here goes nothing" she mumbled before making her way back to Kellys' bedroom.

Kelly sat on her bed Indian style with a bottled water nestled in the space between her legs and her phone in her hand. Skai thought of running back to the bathroom to escape the wrath of the candid blonde.

She was too late though, almost as if she could hear her thoughts, Kellys' head shot up when Skai had thought about going back into the bathroom.

Her expression was unreadable...at first that is, as the seconds went by her eyes grew bigger and bigger. Skai feared they would pop right out of her head. Kellys' lips parted partially as she got up ever so slowly and made her way to the door, the door that Skai had seemed to be stuck on.

"Skai..." Kelly trailed off, her voice barely audible. But as she came closer her expression slowly transformed into a happy one, then an excited one, she was basically grinning.

"Skai you look amazing!!!!" She screamed happily. Skai laughed nervously before responding "ermm..thanks I guess" Kelly grabbed her make up bag and hair stuff. "Lets add the finishing touch, shall we?" She said with a wiggle of her brows.

Inside the house was shaking. The music was extremely loud. You could hardly hear the lyrics of the song, all you heard was the bass, the words sounded muffled. It was a rock n roll song anyway, naturally there would be more electric guitars and drums than singers, or should I say shouters.
