Skai

Ok so it's been a day since I blew up on Kelly. I don't know what got into me, but it seemed to have left.

I wish I had all that...extra...ughhh I dont even know what to call it. All I know is that I need it back, it felt good to curse like that. To yell at someone and walk away like a 'bawse' . Like oh my gosh I even kicked her trashcan!!!!

It felt good yesterday though, right now I just want to go over there and apologize and beg her to forgive me.

I need to feel that fire I felt yesterday. I liked it. I really really liked it. I felt like I was on top of the world. With all its power at my disposal.

Hmmm, I wonder if that's how the president feels.

There was a small knock at my room door. "Skai honey, someone is here to see you" my grandmother announced through the door.

I liked that about her, my parents would just barge in my room without my permission, well actually my mom would.

Nana would never do that to me, she understood that I needed privacy and she respected my privacy. Just what a girl needs.

I hopped off my bed and opened the door. Nana stood there with a fresh batch of hazlenut cookies in her hand.

She had a love for the kitchen, I remember when I was about six, and confident, I had asked her why she didn't just marry the darn old kitchen. I laughed. She didn't.

My lips curled to form a sly smile

My lips curled to form a sly smile. I snatched a cookie and kissed her cheek before barreling down the stairs. I wonder who's here to see me. I took a bite of my cookie and smiled. Nana never disappoints.

I looked up to see the front door open but there was no one outside. "Funny" I mumbled to myself. I was about to yell for nana when I was stopped by Kelly's voice.

"Over here" she announced. I whipped my head around to find her leaning on the kitchen island. For a second I forgot that we argued the day before.

She wore a smile like nothing bad had ever happened between us. I dunno but that annoyed the living hell out of me. My blood began to boil at the very sight of her. The more I looked the angrier I became.

Yes!

Yes!!

Yes!!!

It's happening again. I'm on top of the world!!
I propped my elbow on my other hand as I inspected my poorly manicured nails. "Must you ruin my life with your irksome presence?" I sneered.

Her smile fell. Good for her, her cheeks must hurt. Something wicked flashed in her eyes at my rather smart comment. Bet you didn't expect this did you!! To be totally honest I'm surprised at myself. I mean who knew I had a smart mouth!!
