CHAPTER 4-

KAGAMI POV

it's been a day since the incident and I've been losing my mind. I haven't gone to school because I'm too much of a coward to face everybody. Coach had probably told the team about my little outburst. Gah, I'm an idiot, I rely on instinct to much. On top of that I haven't played basketball since then, I don't know why I haven't though. It's been driving me crazy. I can't exactly apologise for what I did, well at least without coach apologising first. She doesn't deserve my apologies until she gives me a good reason.

I haven't done anything wrong. I have always come to training on time. I haven't done anything extremely irrational. I just don't understand. An exasperated sigh passed my lips "I just wanna know what I did wrong." I spoke in a hushed tone. Imagine if Kuroko or anyone else were to find me sitting at Maji Burger with my head in my hands. That would be a very amusing if that person weren't me. How would I even face Kuroko anymore. It would just be too awkward, what am I meant too say 'Hey Kuroko, I'm sure you heard about my big outburst at coach and the fact I was booted off the team. Do you wanna go to Maji Burgers after school?' I thought sarcastically.

I tilted my head towards the large window next to my table. It was already night time so the sky was dark, just like yesterday when coach asked to talk to me after training. If I had've known this would happen I probably would of behaved myself a little better. Maybe I could of trained harder. What am I doing moping around on my butt when I could make regret what they did. All have to do is become stronger. Then again they are my friends......are they still my friends? We're they ever my friends or were they just my team mates.
"Yo Bakagami, stop ya think'n. I can see the smoke come out of ya ears." A lazy voice stated in front of me. I shot my head up, knowing exactly who it was.

"A-Aomine?!" Curse my stutter "what are you doing here?" I demanded. Glaring at him from across the table.

"Yes, it's me, the one and only. I'm here because I'm hungry, it's a fast food place for a reason" he said in a 'know it all' type atone along side his God damn smirk.

"That's not what I meant Ahomine, why are you sitting with me?" I growled at him, did Kuroko tell him what happened? He let out a snort before replying with

"Baka, your way too easy to read. Of course Tetsu told me what happened, plus im only sitting here because there is no other place to sit. Besides its not like your exactly invisible, I mean your six foot, have that fire truck coloured hair and you have a pile of burgers the size of Mt.Everest in front of ya." I looked to my right to find the burgers I have yet to eat. I must of been so deep in thought, I completely forgot about them.

"You don't have a right to diss my hair with your hair colour, aho." I said with a cheeky grin whilst unwrapping my first burger. Stuffing the burger whole into my mouth, I moved on to the next, then the next, and then the next.......

"Has anyone told you that you look like a chipmunk.....perhaps a gopher or a squirrel?"

I looked up again to find him sitting there with his head resting on his palm, with a devious smirk. I must of lost myself in the burgers.

"Hmm, I'm surprised an aho like you know that many animals." I replied smoothly. Reaching out for another burger only to find none there. I let out a sad noise at this fact.

"Ha, what about a tiger~?" He said before chuckling. Grrr, that's it. He had crossed the line. No one calls me tiger and gets away with it. I opened my mouth to shout at him but he put a finger on my lips to shush me.

" I know and don't care what your about to say, but, there are children around so please act responsibly" oh, your on Aomine! I opened my mouth slightly, just until there was enough room for his finger before I bit him.

"YOU SON OF A-" I put my finger to his mouth "shh, please don't finish that sentence there are children around." I move my arm around to gesturing to all the people; more specifically children, staring at us from there seats. With a satisfied grin I removed my finger from his mouth before he could return the favour.

" Now could you please tell me the real reason for talking with me or please leave" i gestured to the door.

"Grrrrr, Satsuki found out about you being kicked off and told me to find out why. Tetsu doesn't know why, well he might but won't tell me." He huffed, glaring daggers into me. I felt a slight relief hearing that Kuroko may not know about it but still, he's Kuroko, he never gives away anything with that stoic personality.

"I actually don't know why I was kicked off" Silence, all I was met with war silence. Aomine looked dumbfounded, yet, his eyes were shone of curiosity and amusement.

"Ahhahhahahahahahahhah" rang throughout Maji Burger. Aomine had toppled over in a fit of laughs, he even went to the trouble of hitting his fist against the table. He lifted a finger and pointed it towards me "Y-You don't hahhahaha know why you hahhahaha were kicked off?" He kept laughing for a good five minutes and wiped an imaginary tear away.

"No?" I asked, confused to how I should answer his question.

"You really are a Bakagami aren'tcha." He stood up and shot his burger wrapper into the bin as if it were a basketball. When did he get that?

"Either way, this was a complete waste of time. Have ya at least asked ya coach why she did that?" He questioned with genuine curiosity laced with his voice. I looked down at the table to 'attempt' to hide my beet red face, as I had come to the realisation I still hadn't done anything about it.

"I didn't go to school today." I mumbled bashfully.

"Gee your pathetic aren'tcha. What did you do vow revenge of something?" He asked as he slung his arm over my shoulders. Geez doesn't this guy know personal space? I didn't reply immediately, in fact I hesitated. He just wants me to admit it. He said it himself  Moimoi had asked him to find out the reason. Which means he knows all about my little speech.

"Like you would know." I spat out, venom dripping from my words and I shoved his arm off. He shot me a curious look and said.

"I don't, that's why I asked, baka." What? Does that mean he doesn't know. That means coach didn't tell anyone else or that Kuroko didn't want to disclose that information.

"Why are you taking it seriously anyways, it was just a joke" he stated. Then he looked as if he just realised something.

"You did didn't you" he said before bursting out in laughter again," How are you gonna get revenge anyways?" I was about to reply but then he cut me off.

"You were going to get stronger, weren't ya?" He stated as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. I growled at him.

"Well yeah what else could I do?" I asked whilst glaring at him.

"Well, you could join my team"

CLIFFHANGER! Sorry for any mistakes or anything my mind is mush and I haven't been to school for like 3+ weeks. This is also my longest chapter so far so yay! Sorry if I made anyone OOC ed, I didn't exactly know how I should write Aomines character, I didn't really know how to Kagami's either but mleh. I will try to make it better next time.
