"You were going to get stronger, weren't ya?" He stated as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. I growled at him.
"Well yeah what else could I do?" I asked whilst glaring at him.
"Well, you could join my team"
"W-what?" I spluttered. What the hell is he on about. The confusion must of been evident on my face as he continued.
"I was just kidding bakagami, geez, man up and face the music. Anyways I have to go." Aomine stated lazily as he just started walking away.
A sigh escaped my lips as I put my head in between my hands. 'When did he gain some braincells?' I groaned as I picked up my tray of burger wrappers and chucked them into the trash. I started to walk back to my apartment, oblivious to my surroundings as I try to mentally prepare myself for tomorrow. 'I made it more awkward by not going to school today. What will Kuroko think? We made this whole promise and now that we made it to the top, I just turn around and leave? Wait a minute, I was kicked off. It wasn't my fault, I did nothing!'
I made my way back to my apartment without any trouble and then I decided to go to bed.

" What do you mean your not coming with me?"
" Taiga, I have this all planned out, don't worry,"
" Have what all planned out? The deal was that you were going to come with me to Japan, not dump me there all alone."
" There's a certain order to everything Taiga"
"You know what? You've changed, you weren't like this when mum was still alive."
"People change Taiga-"
"Don't dump that crap on me old man. Fine, stuff you! I don't want to see you ever again!"

I gasped as I shot out of bed.
"W-what was that? Why did I suddenly dream that?" My voice raspy just waking up. I brought my shaking hand up to my head only to find I had been crying. " D-damn you old man." I glanced to my alarm clock on my bedside table only to find its five am. I sigh lightly, 'I won't be able to go to sleep again now' I rolled out of bed and did my morning routine to find its only six am. 'I may as well practice since I have the time'

With that Kagami emerged from his apartment with a basketball in hand and started to make his way to the courts. Completely oblivious to the person trailing behind him.
