Chapter 6-

3rd person

With that Kagami emerged from his apartment with a basketball in hand and started to make his way to the courts. Completely oblivious to the person trailing behind him.

I've got you where I want you Kagami~

Now~

Kagami's POV

The courts were deserted, there was no one around for miles. I am half expecting a tumbleweed to roll across the courts. I dropped my gear onto a near by bench and started taking random shots. I kept missing them though, I'm feeling as if I am being watched. I turn my body around looking for any signs of life but there were none.

3rd person

Kagami made an annoyed grunt before going back to shooting. He frequently glanced behind his shoulder for anyone; anything. He couldn't shake this feeling off. His instincts were screaming at him to leave and his instincts are (almost) never wrong.

He picked up his basketball and headed to his gear. Grabbing a towel he wiped the sweat off his face and quickly disposed of it. Kagami picked up his bag, almost about to leave when "Hello Kagami" interrupted the silence. A deep stressed voice echoed through the courts. Kagami visibly tensed and his breath had hitched. He was brought back to reality when the stranger spoke, "Do you remember me Ka-ga-mi?"

Kagami had let out a growl and whipped his head around to find none other than Haizaki Shogo. A dry laughter left Haizaki as he played with his braids.

"So, you do remember me"

"Fū€k (I'm so sorry, I don't swear) off Haizaki" Kagami practically growled. His eyes glowing with rage.

"Hmm, I'd rather not. After all you do owe me" Haizaki grinned a cynical smile.

"I don't owe you nothing" Kagami spat back, venom dripping from his voice.

"Oh but you do." His grin turning into a smirk, "if you don't remember I could happily remind you of our little deal"

All Kagami replied with was a deadly glare. If looks could kill, Haizaki would be killed ten times before he hit the floor.

"Oh so you do remember, lovely. Listen I'm in some-" there was a short pause "trouble at the moment and you are going to help me."

Kagami looked sceptically at Haizaki, "How much trouble?" He asked gingerly.

"Twenty-five years worth." Haizaki stated as if it were normal

"What!" Kagami yelled, "What did you do?"

"Im not going to disclose that information"

"I'm not helping you!"

"Fine then I will just have to inform everyone about what happened. Such a shame really, losing all of your friends just because of one stupid mistake"

Without a thought a fist suddenly made contact with Haizakis face. Haizaki stumbled a bit before ultimately passing out. Kagamis rage had died down enough to know what he just did. He only had one single thought 'crap!'

"Hello Kagami-Kun" "Hey Bakagami"

Then there was just silence, Kagami had finally taken in the voices before shouting in shock.

"Oh my god! Are you trying to give me a heart attack?" He asked as he placed a hand onto his chest.

"No Kagami-" Kuroko was cut off by Aomine who gave a quick blatant yes.

"Woah bakagami what do we have here? Finally punched him for attacking your 'brother' and girlfriend. Geez your like a hundred years too la-"

"Alex is my mentor, not my girlfriend"

"That makes sense, you probably can't get a girlfriend with your looks anyway." Kagami felt his shackles rise before he knew it he was grabbing Aomine by the collar.

"Well you can't seem to make them stay." Kagami spat at Aomine.

"Baka"

"Aho"

"Bast-" Their quarrelling was cut short by a painful jab in the ribs delivered by nonetheless Kuroko.

"Kagami-kun, Aomine-kun. Please stop this senseless bickering we have more important things at hand." Kuroko only received a few grunts in response.

"So Kagami-Kun why did you punch Haizaki?"

Kagami POV
'Oh crap, what do I tell them? I can't tell them the real reason and I can't lie; I'm an open book. Crap. Crap. Think brain think.'

"Oh-um he-" I was cut short by Kuroko. "Actually Kagami-kun, why are you off the team?"

"Didn't coach tell you? She just kicked me off for no reason what so ever." Kuroko only responded with a simple "oh"
