eleven.

calum was right, after the girl, whose name he never got, found out that the name thing was a fluke and calum in fact did not know anyone in the band she spun on her heels and walked off. calum looked down at his cup and swirled the orange mixture with his index finger before looking back up and spotting her across the room. he sculled the drink and a new found confidence overwhelmed his body. he sauntered over and stood in front of her, smiling. but as soon as her eyes met his he froze up and all that confidence disappeared.

"hi," he choked out and she scowled at him before turning towards her friends and muttering under her breath. calum knew she didn't want him to hear but he heard everything. who the fuck invited the weirdo? he looked awkwardly at his feet and bit his lip, "sorry for interrupting what ever you were doing." calum turned around to walk away.

"wait," she called, and calum turned to look at her smiling face. he returned to his position in front of her and waited for her to continued talking. "i didn't mean it like that, in fact, how about you and i have a talk, come on we'll go upstairs away from all the noise?" she smiled, and motioned for calum to follow her up the staircase. calum was too shocked and excited by the moment to hear the sarcasm in her voice, so like a puppy he followed her up the stairs and into the third room on the left.

he sat on the bed while she shut the door and wandered over to him, straddling him and bringing her lips close to his ear, "why are you here? you're just a loner." and calum knew she was right. he was a loner.
