Quote of the day:

If you can dream it, you can achieve it

~Walt Disney

I remain frozen behind the car, trying to make out the features of my mothers imposter.

The light then flickers on and I see it's no woman at all. In fact, it's a man with a terrifying white toothed smile and wide, alert eyes. He's wearing a suit with a black undershirt.

But the face and clothes aren't what scare nor confuse me the most about, it's his ability to replicate the voice of my mother.

Then it hits me...

This of course can't be a human, it must be some type of robot. And I can tell by the demanding tone and need to lure me out the darkness means this robot ain't friendly.

I never trained myself to be prepared for scenarios where I'd be in danger and currently have no time to overthink or analyze like I've grown accustomed of doing.

This is a serious matter and if I don't play my cards right, I could very well die if it comes to it.

"There's no point in hiding, Lacey. I know you're behind the car." Says the robot. His voice has now changed to a remarkably low, menacing voice.

Only when the robot says this, do I jump out from behind the car and dart for my Lacey 1000.

The robot aims his arm at me and before I realize anything, a blast swipes my right arm and I grit my teeth and reach for my helmet and goggles before escaping out from the garage door.

I run down the driveway whilst pulling my arms through the straps of my flymobile.

As I'm running, I hear another blast fired from behind me.

I don't even look behind me as the blast hits a nearby tree trunk and sets it ablaze in red hot flames a millisecond later.

In a hurry, I squeeze on the helmet without strapping it and slide on the protection goggles.

I reach for the joysticks on the flymobile and non hesitantly hammer the biggest button which I made especially blue for my favorite color.

The flymobile makes and spluttering noise as flames emerge from the engines.

Before I know it, I'm launched in the air with such force, even the goggles don't provide much protection for my eyes.

Remembering that I'm trying to escape an evil robot who looks solely to kill, I mess with the joysticks in hopes of distancing myself from the robot as much as possible.

It's been an hour or so and I've just been flying around, testing out the Lacey 1000. There've been no signs of Mr. Evil Robot but I didn't want to put my family in danger.

I look down at my stinging arm and clench my jaw. It really hurts and I need to get it checked out before
it becomes infected.

Telling by the placement of the moon, I assume it's around twelve in the morning.

I couldn't be up here forever so I decide on heading home.

I scan the endless rows of houses before finding a familiar looking neighborhood.

I change gears in the flymobile and it slowly starts to descend.

The robot has for sure left for I see no trace of him anywhere along the well illuminated roads.

I let out a shaky breath knowing an evil robot doesn't give up so easily. At least they don't in movies.
