Meeting Melanie: Pity Party

Unexpectedly you received an invitation in your mail box for a party in your neighborhood, you didn't know who it was from. The party started at 4pm and it was already 5pm. You knew you would be an hour late, you had nothing else to do later that night and decided to go and check out the party.
As you walked up to the big gorgeous house you heard screaming, you hesitated to go inside at first, but still rang the doorbell.

Silence.

The door slowly opened up, there standing the prettiest girl you've ever seen in the cutest pink dress. Suddenly you were wishing to be her.
"I'm here for the birthday party." You said, looking at her curled and colored hair.
"Oh come inside then!" She said with excitement.
There was nobody else there, popped balloons were all on the floor, blue frosting smeared across the floor too, and smoke coming from the tables.
"Nobody showed up, only you."
"Only me?"
"I kinda threw myself a huge pity party, that explains the mess here..."
"Oh it's fine, I can help clean up." You said as you looked around, thinking it was almost impossible.
"No, I can clean it up later by myself, thanks anyways." She said as she grinned.
You saw the big gap between her teeth, you thought it was the cutest thing you've ever seen in your entire life and started laughing.
"What?" She said, confused.
"Your teeth."
"You don't like them?" Melanie said, frowning.
"They're gorgeous! What are you talking about!"
She grinned again, showing her teeth. She handed you a party hat to put on. You took it out of her hand and put it on. She was really sweet and made you feel at home.
"What's your name?" You asked.
"Melanie...Melanie Martinez!"
"I love that name!"
"Thank you! What's your name?"
"My names ______"
"I love that name too!" She said happily.
You both ate the remaining cake that was left and listened to songs on the radio. Soon you heard a really catchy song come on that you've never heard before.
"Wow this song is really good! Have you heard it before?"
Melanie giggled.
"What?" You said, confused.
"Yes, I've heard it. It's called Mad Hatter."
"Who's it by?"
"Me."
"What!" You said loudly.
"Search it up." She said giving another big grin just as before.
You searched up the song and sure enough there it was "Mad Hatter by Melanie Martinez" with her pictures and all her other music videos. You were surprised and shocked that you just met a really amazing singer without knowing it! YOU EVEN WENT TO HER BIRTHDAY PARTY!
"You sound amazing! You just earned yourself a huge fan!"
"Maybe a fan friend?" She said, smiling.
"A friend? Really?" You said excitingly.
"Yeah! We'll have lots of fun, I promise!"
She grabbed your hand and ran up stairs to her room and told you to wait outside, she walked back out with a completely new outfit and brushed hair. Her outfit was adorable! You knew your outfit wasn't nearly as good as hers and began to sulk.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Your outfit is amazing, look at mine though!"
"Oh yeah I already got an outfit for you if you'd like to try it on!"
She handed it over and moved out of the way for you to change. You closed the door as she waited outside, she gave you a cute skirt, crop top, cute heels with bows, and accessories. Everything was pastel, it was absolutely adorable on you and it fit perfectly. You walked out and she gasped excitedly.
"You look amazing!" She said.
"Thank you!"
