"He's been acting really weird lately" Sydney ranted about Tyler, not too happy about him joining their group by the party, but knowing her friend Skylin would've never backed down.

"I know, i know. That's why i want to go with him"

Skylin threw her hands in the air, shaking them like she was a 5 year-old complaining to her mother for not buying her a candy.

Sydney sighed and turned around from her locker, now payin full attention to Sky.

"I'm okay with it but what about nathan?

A smile disappeared from Skylins face at the sound of her boyfriends' name.

"Nathan is not a problem, he isn't even coming to this party, besides nobody can tell me that I can't be friends with Tyler, we've been friends for 10 years! Well before I..."

Her eyes darted to Sydney who just nodded her head, understanding.

"Okay call me whenever you want to and i'll give you the directions. Oh and wear something sexy and elegant. It's not a dress code but everyone's going to wear a dress." Sydney told at her and started walking to her next class.

"Oh and tell Tyler to wear something nice too"

Skylins phone suddenly started buzzing. With quick movements she opened her bag and took the phone out. It was Tyler.

"Hey" she answered.

"Hey I'm heading home, do you want a ride?"

Skylin had one more class. "Screw it" she thought and told Tyler to meet her in the library.

She started jogging to the library, not wanting to leave tyler waiting for long, when she suddenly bumped with Someone.

"Nathan" she exclaimed.

"Hey babe, where are you going, i thought you had history?"

That came out more like a question than a sentence. Skylin struggled a little to answer him.

"I'm going to the library, Tyler is giving me a ride. We're going to a party together today and i thought that uhm yeah"

nathan didn't pay attention to her blabbing, her went straight to the point.

"Wait, Tyler as in Tyler joseph?"

"Yes, why?"

Nathan greeted his teeth, he always was getting jealous whenever Sky and Tyler smiled at each other from across the long hallway, or when their eyes lingered at one another for way too long.

"Nothing" he swallowed the jealousy.

"But..." He continued "..am I supposed to go alone now or what?"

Sky rolled her eyes " i thought you weren't coming, your brother is coming back to town"

"He decided on Sunday , that means I'm free today and tomorrow"

'Damn' Skylin thought to herself. She scooted over to nathan, pulling out those sad puppy eyes.

"I'm sorry Nate, I'm already going with Tyler and there's nothing you can do about it. Maybe some other time? Or don't get me wrong you can go but I probably won't be by your side"
