Chapter Four

Murphy's Law
We drove forward more and found a road block.
"Shit" I cursed
We went around it and drive into the golf course. We got out and walked over a small bridge. Citizen Z called and talked to Warren and Murphy
"Yea she's here,sadly" Murphy mumbled into the radio thingy.
Murphy extended his arm giving the radio to me I looked at him questioning his actions.
"Hello?" I asked
"Hey Thirteen! how are you doing?" Simon said happily
"Hey Z I'm doing pretty good" I shrugged
"Zombies!" Doc warned and I took a step back.
"Gotta go" I told citizen Z before tossing the radio at Warren. I grabbed my machete and ran at some Z's.
"Get to the clubhouse!" Warren yelled
We ran in and locked the door
"We've got company" Warren said as zombies came in. Doc and Warren grabbed clubs. Cassandra stepped back towards the wall on fear.
"10k, your sling" I said grabbing a bucket of golf balls.
"Yep" he said grabbing a golf ball and slinging it at a zombie. We locked ourselves In a bathroom. 10k lightly pushed me behind him protectively. Cassandra squeezed next to me.
We heard gunshots.
"It's okay to come out now" a voice said
I looked up at 10k. His face reflected my worry.
The people served us wine or some drink.
Murphy took a sip
"Oh this is good! Try some
10 set" Murphy said looking at 10k
10k looked at me and took a sip. I drank some as well. It was good.
10k chugged his while I just sipped mine. A few minutes later 10k passed out his face hitting the table.
"10k?" I asked and Cassandra Passed out as well
"What?" I asked
The room slightly spun
"10k...10k!" I yelled shaking him and only saw black. I opened my eyes and groaned.
"10k?" I asked groggily and heard a zombie. I sat up and saw it chained next to me. I was 'rational' and screamed
I looked next to me and saw 10k, then Cassandra, then doc and Warren.
They were all passed out while the zombie was wide awake. "Shit" i cursed
"10k get up please!" I begged and he didn't budge
"10k!"  I yelled and the zombie growled.
I heard a small groan from 10k.
"10k!" I squealed and he looked at me
"Hm?" He asked and saw the zombie
"Oh crap" he said
The others woke up and saw it.
We killed it with an umbrella and Warren got us out of the chains. I felt dizzy as we walked.
"You alright?" 10k asked
"Dizzy" I muttered and he wrapped an arm around me helping me walk. We found a car and drove we made it to where their car was and walked the rest of the way.
"Oh my god" doc said looking at the zombies
"What is it doc?" 10k asked
"Viagra zombies" doc said and 10k looked and he lifted his hand covering my eyes. I giggled at his gesture. 
"Can't you two be cute at a different time? We need to find Murphy!"  Cassandra insisted. We trudged through the gate. I lifted my machete as we entered. The beeping seemed to distract the Z's. We made the in and saw what's his face about to kill Murphy
"Stop" Warren said lifting her gun as did doc and Cassandra. Then zombies flowed in. I ran over to a pile of boxes near where they were coming in and started pushing the tower of boxes. They wouldn't budge.
"Oh crap" I hissed as zombies noticed me. I started to slice them with the machete. I was pushed against the boxes a zombie trying to bite me. I tried pushing it off but it wouldn't budge. A shot rang out and the zombie fell. 10k nodded at me and ran over.
"Help me push these over" I said and it was easyer pushing over the boxes with his help. The boxes blocked the door so the zombies can't get in.
"Just stop Warren. You've lost again" the man said
"On the contrary" Murphy said and the man brought the gun to his temple and shot himself. I gasped in horror and grabbed 10k.
"Hey it's alright" he said putting an arm around me. I sighed contently. Murphy through the van keys at Warren. Warren was driving, Murphy had shotgun, in the backseat was Cassandra and Doc. 10k and I sat in the trunk. He had his back against the wall of the van his legs spread out, I laid in his lap with my head against his chest, he had his arms wrapped around me. I snuggled into his chest finally feeling safe. We stopped for a break the next day. 10k was ontop of the van, don't even ask how he got up there because i don't even know how he got up there, he was sniping zombies. I walked over to a group of
Three zombies.
I took my machete and killed one then I turned an stabbed the other. The third one grabbed me I put my hand son it's shoulders and started pushing it away. There was a gunshot and the zombie fell dead.
"Aw come on 10k! I had that one!" I pouted looking at him.
"Are you kidding?" Doc said walking over to me
"Well honey that boy wouldn't let anything happen to you even if he died trying to save you" Doc continued
I felt my face flush at Doc's words.
"Sh-shut up doc" I said while looking down at the floor and he laughed and patted me on the back.
"Awe doc leave her alone she just wants to be alone and think about 10k" Murphy teased
"Oh shut it Murphy!" I said angrily
"Make me sweet heart" he said with an eye roll.
I glowered at him. I looked over my shoulder to see 10k walking over. I glared at Murphy.
"Hey guys" he said walking over and I turned to face him. I felt Murphy lightly push me forward and I crashed into 10k's chest. I groaned
"If you weren't immune I would feed you to the Z's!" I hissed
"Or I could feed you to the Z's" Murphy said with a glare
"I dare you" I said back and Murphy smirked as he walked by he Ruffled my hair.
"There's some fight to this one" he said walking away.  10k chuckled. I pouted. We all got back into the van. 10k and I sat in the back of the van.
"Thanks for being a friend Brandi, I needed one through this hell hole" 10k said
"Best friend" I corrected
"Mega best friend" 10k said with a smirk I laughed and put my head on his shoulder. That was the moment I realized, 10k wasn't just my best friend but I liked him as more then a friend as well, but he liked Cassandra and I was just a friend. I guess this is just as good as it gets.

Guys a bunch of geese just flew over my house and they were like idk making goose noises and I thought there were like murderers outside😂😂
