Chapter seaven

I ran after the bounty hunter as he chased Murphy.
"Well hi there I'm thirteen" I breathed out as I more or less was running beside him
"What do you want?" He said annoyed
"I'm pretty sure you might know" I said as we kept running.
"I'll be the one to catch Murphy he breathed
"Sure" I said as we kept running and Murphy climbed over a fence so did the bounty hunter and i was right behind him, practically junping the fence.
"Someone's athletic" he huffed
"You gotta be to survive, also my friend is currently running away from me" I shrugged
"Friend?" He asked
"Yea me and my group have been with Murphy since New York and we are not losing him now" I said as we ran. Zombies ran at the bounty hunter and I leapt over a fence as he was killing them
"Good talk, see ya" I said before running away.
I saw Murphy by a car and then someone tackled Murphy and I grabbed my gun and saw it was 10k I ducked back behind the car fighting the urge to get up and hug him. I had to keep the advantage.then Murphy ran off with Cassandra and a car exploded I jumped out of the way but 10k was on the ground.
"Shit" I muttered
"10k! 10k!" I yelled
"Shit!" I yelled and someone  pulled me back and grabbed 10k.
"You kids scared me" doc said
"What!" 10k asked
"I said you scared me" doc repeated
"What?!" 10k repeated
"I think he's deaf" doc said
"Shit" I cursed.
Warren split us up and we ran towards the building  Murphy was in. 
We ducked behind some cars.
"Think murphy's in there?" I asked looking at 10k
"What?!" He asked
"Still deaf?" I asked
"What?!" He said
"Come on 10k please tell me you can hear me" I said on the verge of tears.i then realized how much he really meant To me, his Forrest green eyes, Raven black hair and perfect smile.
"Well fuck, I'm in love with my best friend" I muttered and looked at the ground.
Doc turned to me eyes wide.
"Your...what?" He asked
"It's true I am I can't deny it anymore" I said shaking my head tears threatening to fall.
I felt arms around me and I looked to see 10k.
"I can't hear you! What's wrong?!" 10k more or less yelled. I sighed.
"We have to go" I said
"They have a sniper" doc protested.
"I know I'll take him out" I said and stood up and ran.
"Wait where is she going?"10k asked worried it took all my wil-power not to turn around.
"Thirteen! Thirteen no come back!" 10k yelled. I ran into the building and up some stairs. I got to the second floor and jogged down the hall to the room where the sniper is. The door was locked I shot the lock with my gun and through myself against the door, making it burst open. I lifted my gun and no one was there I placed my gun in its holster and I felt weight on top of me.
I felt something being tied over my mouth and my hands were tied up.
"UHG" I groaned and tried kicking them off me with no use. They stood up and yanked the rope pulling me up with them. I stood to see my kidnapper, a boy possibly around my age maybe older.
"Well aren't you the pretty one? You'll do perfectly" he sneered and pulled the rope dragging me to the stairs. We went down them and a zombie ran out it ran at me and I ducked it and kicked it. The man shot it.
"Ha looks like you can defend yourself, now I'm going to remove the thing on your mouth okay? If you scream you die." He said and I nodded
He quickly untied the cloth that was over my mouth. I glared at him.
"So what's your name darling?" He asked
"You aren't the one I was looking for" I said glaring at him.
"Because of you my friends will die" I hissed
"Just tell me your name sweetheart" he repeated
"My name is thirteen and I'm sixteen years old" I said angrily
"That's not a name it's a number" he said
"It's my name. What's yours?" I said blandly
"It's Shred. I'm twenty years old" he said
"So where are you taking me exactly?" I asked
"You don't have to worry about it til we are there" he said
"Maybe you do" I said as he pulled me outside.
"Why would I?" He asked as he pushed me to a black pickup truck. He pushed me into the passenger side and he walked around to the driver side.
"Hey shred can you untie my hands now? If I wanted to escape i would have already" I whined
"No, your hands are staying tied it will come in handy for later" he chuckled starting the car
"What do you mean?" I asked as he started to drive. I looked out the window and we passed 10k and doc. I mouthed the word help as they stared at the car, with wide eyes. I lifted my arms and grabbed the door handle with my fingers and kicked it I tumbled out of the car. The car stopped immediately and I heard someone running.
"10k?" I muttered
"What are you crazy? The fuck is a 10k?!" He demanded
Shred
"You know what shred it's been fun but at this point it's time I run" I said turning and darting off back toward where the building was.
"Get back here!" He yelled chasing me
"No!" I yelled as I ran I made it back towards the building, him hot on my trail. Almost there
I was tackled to the ground and pinned  down my back on the ground I looked up into shred's eyes. I glared at him.
"Why are you trying to leave baby?" He asked and pressed his lips against mine. My eyes shot open and then shred collapsed ontop of me. I pushed him off and he layed on the ground clutching his arm. I saw a gun shot wound.
I looked up to see doc and 10k running over. 10k grabbed shred's collar.
"What the hell?!" Shred exclaimed in anger
"You stay away from her! How dare you try to take her from me!" 10k yelled taking his knife and putting it to Shred's neck.
"You don't deserve mercy from this world, as much as I'd enjoy seeing you walking around as a Z I can't kill a human being" he dropped shred to the ground
"Bye shred" I said and started walking away not before kicking his gun wound arm.
I turned around and stopped being pulled into a hug.
"Thirteen I was so worried I thought he was going to take you away from me" 10k said hugging me.
"It's alright ten, I'm here I'm not leaving. Can you do me a favor? My hands are still tied together" I said and he pulled away pulling out his knife and cutting the ropes.
"Thanks that was starting to hurt my wrist, he was probably the worst kidnapper ever" I sighed
"But he was going to take you.." 10k said
"Nah if I really wanted to I could have gotten away. I was just letting him give me a ride maybe to Murphy, I mean I have a few scratches from jumping out of the car but that's about it" I shrugged 10k pulled me back into a hug.
"Ten, as nice as this is there are people probably trying to kill us, now let's go find Murphy" I said and we walked past shred who was trying to stand up but a Z tackled him. We walked past and doc raised his gun.
"No mercy, not for him" 10k said and I ran over and kicked the zombie off shred who was starting to turn I pulled his sniper off his back and ran back over to doc and 10k.
I handed the sniper to him but he shook his head.
"This is the only sniper for me, I'll teach you how to use that one soon" he smiled and we ran into the building. We found Warren and the bounty hunter that was chasing Murphy the same time I was before.
"Oh hey, your thirteen aren't you? Left me to the Z's" he said
"Yea yea, I did what I had to do. Now we have to find Murphy" I shrugged
"I'm Vasquez" he said and I shook his hand
"Split up" Warren said doc ran down the hall, Warren and Vasquez followed him, 10k and I went the opposite way.
"Shred! Shred! Did you find her?!" I heard a voice say and I reached for my pistol. A man walked past the room we were hidden in. I walked out and kicked him he fell and rolled over onto his back. I straddled him and started punching him on the face he kicked me off and he stood up yanking me up and pinning me to the wall.
"Hello beautiful" he sneered and he was pulled back and 10k punched him.
"Don't you ever touch her!" He snapped punching him again I was sitting on the floor my back against the wall. 10k turned to me.
"We have to go, come on thirteen" he said he grabbed my hand and we ran seeing Warren doc and Vasquez run up to the roof and we followed. Murphy jumped off the edge, he landed in a pool full of zombies and ran off.
"Back down!" Warren yelled and we darted back down. Murphy was wait
In in a truck for Cassandra when addy showed up, broke the window punched him and dragged him out hitting him. Cassandra ran over and I knew she would kill addy. Vasquez had his pistol aimed at her and I stood with 10k as Warren and doc pulled addy off.
"Where's Mack?" Warren asked and addy shook her head tears falling from her eyes. She turned to me and 10k.
"Be happy you have him thirteen, don't be stupid and let him go like I did with Mack" she cried. And we got into the truck.
Murphy, Cassandra,Vasquez, addy  and Warren sat inside doc 10k and I sat in the truck bed. I sighed. What a day. Almost getting kidnapped. I could still feel their grimy hands on me. I felt a tear go down my cheek and 10k wrapped his arms around me.
"Hey it's alright" he said
"They were going to take me" I said sadly
"I would never let them take you" he said burying his face into my neck. I saw doc smile at me from the other side of the truck bed and I smiled back. Doc knew my secret and I was okay with that.
