#1: 16th Birthday (Part 2)

You run up to answer the door revealing a tall blonde boy wearing a white tank top and ripped skinny jeans. You both look at each other's outfits and begin to laugh. 'You copied my look' he says, crossing his arms and pouting jokingly. You push his shoulder slightly and giggle, making him chuckle too. 'You look great', you smile and say to him, he looks down blushing uncontrollably. You were confused as to why he acted in this way, like he was hiding something or he was somewhat nervous, but you just shrugged it off and didn't let it bother you. He looks up into your eyes and takes your hand, his face inching closer to yours, 'And you look beautiful as ever'. He pecks you on the lips and you give in to the kiss, smiling wide at him once you break away and he mimicks the same action as you look into his mesmorising blue eyes. Your eye contact drifts away from his as he interwines his fingers with yours, leading you out of the house to the car making you start to wonder what he had planned for tonight.

You soon arrive at what Luke calls your 'birthday destination'. 'Your house?', you question as Luke pulls up into the driveway and nods. You were so curious as to what was going on but you knew that it wouldn't be long until you would find out. He escorts you to the front door and opens it for you, switching on the lights as you walk in. A loud scream of 'surprise's filled your ears. You recognised those voices. You look up to see your family and friends standing forward from you having come from your hometown. Family and friends in which you hadn't seen in so long. Your eyes start to well up with tears of happiness, also interested to know how this was all possible. You give them all hugs and create small talk between each other. Soon after you feel a tap on your shoulder making you turn around: the 5sos boys. 'It was all Lukey's idea' Ashton says grinning wildly, the rest of them giving Luke that look of wanting to tease him. 'You did all this, for me?' you ask, your tone in voice sounding so genuine and meaningful. 'Well, the guys helped in all this and-' he begins to mumble, fiddling with his thumbs and smiling sheepishly. 'Aww Lukey's blushing' Calum interrupts, stretching his words making the boys laugh at his remark. 'Shut up, Calum' he retorts making you giggle at their harmless banter. 'I can't believe you did this, thank you so much' you say, embracing Luke into a hug, your face burying into his chest as he rests his head onto yours. 'I would do anything for you'. Those words carried so much meaning, something that you really cared about that you promised yourself that you would never forget.

The night was still young, you spent most of your time catching up with family and friends and just hanging out with the 5sos boys of course. The boys had set up a little stage out in the back garden, playing a few songs for everyone to maintain the lively energy. 'This is our last song. It goes out specially to the birthday girl. It's something I've been wanting to say for awhile now so I wrote this song for you, I hope you like it', Luke announces into the mic, winking at you as Calum starts to play the bass line of the song.

You listen carefully to every lyric in the song, not breaking eye contact with Luke as he sings his heart out, knowing that he believes in every word he is saying making you feel content.

You realise why Luke has been showing you mixed emotions lately, he was confused and so were you. You loved him and he poured his heart out in this song he wrote just for you. Tears of joy start to brimmer in your eyes as he walks closer and closer to you, his body right in front of yours nearing the end of the song, his last words being:
