Chapter 2
Jennifer was so frightened after the officer told her that someone might be trying to harm her family. So when the officer left Jennifer decided to call her husband, "James." When her husband answered the phone her first words were, "Honey someone called the house saying, "I'm your worst nightmare and stuff, ugh it was horrible!" James said, "Well did you call the cops?" Jennifer said, "Yes! Of course I did!" James said, "Okay good! Just don't say anything to Elizabeth about it." Jennifer said, "Why? She's family." James said, "Still, she's a young girl who doesn't need all that stress! Take her phone away so that weirdo person won't text her!" Jennifer said, "How am I suppose to do that?" James said, "Say you have to update her phone or something." Jennifer said, "Okay fine! I love you, see you when you get home from work!" James said, "I love you too! Bye!" So they hung up on the phone. Jennifer went upstairs into Elizabeth's room, Jennifer said, "Sweetheart I need your phone for like a day or two! It's important." Elizabeth said, "Why? So you can look through my messages or something?" Jennifer said, "No sweetie! I need your phone so I can update it because our Verizon contract company called your father and said that they need your phone so they can update it!" Elizabeth said, "Fine! But what am I suppose to use now to text my friends?" Jennifer said, "I don't know school?" Elizabeth gave her phone to her mother, Jennifer grabbed Elizabeth phone and walked away shutting the door behind her. Elizabeth said to herself, "Great! Now what am I suppose to use to text my friends?" She thought and thought until it came to her mind, that she should just use her laptop! So Elizabeth went on her laptop and started texting her friends again.
