It was a warm summer day, with a small breeze in the air that blew Cassandra's hair as she went to the coffee shop. When she entered, she heard some squeal out her name.
As she turned to find the source of the voice, she got Glomped! Then when her attacker released her hold, Cassandra saw her Best Friend in the entire world, Jane.
"CASSIE!," Jane yelled out that annoying old nickname that every one called her,"It has been WAY too long! How've you been? Where've you been? TELLMETELLMETELLME!!!!!!!!" "Calm down Jane!" Cassandra says to try and calm down the jumping black haired bean,"Let's get some coffee for me and Tea for you missy!"
Jane and Cassandra talked for an hour, then Cassie told Jane about...David. "What..." Was all Jane could mutter out when Cassandra Finished, while her jaw was dropping three feet.
Then, before Jane could explode, she told her about the Job search, and Janes eyes lit up. "OMG, I have the Perfect job for you Cassie!" "Whatever it is I have a feeling I know it and No! I'm not gonna build a band or try to be in a fashion show, that shows my pain of the break up," Cassandra quickly responds" it's been five months , and I'm so over him." Jane looks at her with a devious smile,"uh-huh" "yes I am" says Cassie. But Jane still has that look" Then what the first thing that pops in your head, when I say... BOYFRIEND " "Dav-"Cassandra slaps her hand over her mouth before she finishes the name. "HA! I knew it! Anywho, those things weren't what I was going to say,"Jane says, her grin is from ear to ear.
While confused, Cassandra was also curious, Jane always said those things for problems. "You should get a job..."She paused for effect " as a Maid!" Jane practically squealed with delight while Cassandra just sat there, more confused than ever. "A maid , that was the best idea you could think of? No offense but... That was really bad. Period." Janes smile would not fade as Cassie said this, infact, her smile just got even bigger" Relax! My boyfriend and his friends are looking for a maid, and they sent me on the hunt!" "So your just gonna have me go to work for complete strangers?"Cassandra asked, being more worried that mad at her BFF. But Jane reassured her" Relax , they're not gonna do anything bad, they just need a maid to clean up, and if you say yes, you'll be a live in maid! How cool is that? They have this amazing home in the woods, and you'll get paid $50 an Hour."
When Jane mentioned the pay, Cassie knew she lost the battle."So? What do yah say? Will you do it?"
"... Yes..."
