So this takes place in the past, the present where anime is at, and then the future.
~Flash back~
Otori and Hiragi were visiting their Grandfather's mansion, and Otori being the energetic kid he was wanted to go out, and play in the new unexplored territory.
"Come one Tsubasa!" The happy child with a goofy smile etched on his face ran towards the huge trees.
"S-slow down nii-san." The youngest child tried to catch desperately.
"You're so slow." Otori joked, sticking his tongue out. Little did they know they weren't alone on that mountain. Up in a tree was a little girl with (h/c) hair tied up in a adventurous looking ponytail.
"What are you two doing?" She calls down from here high nature throne. The two boys look up.
"Huh?" Was all that came from their mouths. The girl gracefully climbed down the tree and stuck her hand. She was wearing a pair of baggy cargo shorts, and a old, faded light blue shirt. In short she looked like a boy with long hair.
"I'm (l/n) (y/n). I live up here with my family." The boys gave her a blank stare.
"What? Never seen a person who lives in the country side?" She joked, a huge smile stretched on her face.
"Wow, that was amazing (y/n) san!" The older Otori boy broke the silence.. "The way you climbed down was mega cool."
"Thanks, I've climbed that tree since I was little." (Y/n) replied, feeling quite proud of herself.
"Do you want to place with us?" Otori asked.
"Sure, but I have to know your names first right?"
"Oh yeah right! I'm Otori Itsuki, and this is my little brother Tsubasa. You don't have to call us both by our last names, so there will be no confusion."
"Hello, nice to meet you." The navy blue haired boy waved towards (y/n).
"Nice to meet you both Tsubasa kun, Itsuki kun." Instantly the three kids were friends. Since (y/n) knew the forest really well she took them to all of her favorite places. The nice cold river where the trio splashed around, relived from the summer heat. The great tall trees where they felt like the kings or queen of the threes. The meadow where (y/n) had made the wild flowers into flower crowns for each of them. The brothers started to spin and dance with each other.
"Wow you guys are great dancers." (Y/n)'s rich laughter filled the air.
"Have you danced (y/n) chan?" Hiragi asked.
"Mmm..." The girl put a finger to her lip, "not really. No one dances in my family." She finally gave her answer.
"Then we'll teach you!" Otori grabbed (y/n)'s hands and spun around with her. (Y/n) blushed at the action, but she didn't know that her pink tinted cheeks mean't something. After the end of the (y/n) waved to the boys as they entered the gates of their grandfather's huge mansion. The (h/c) haired girl ran off into the forrest, back to who knows where her house is, (y/n)'s laughter rich in the air.
"Hey grandpa!!" Otori waved to his grandfather as they walked into what was practically a castle.
"Who was that?" Their strict elder asked the two boys.
"Oh that was (y/n) she lives up here. She's great grandpa, she knows the forest really well, she's really brave, and she's super strong." Hiragi piped up with huge smile on his young lips.
"So she seems like a great person huh?" The head of the Hiragi family's eyes narrowed.
"Yeah! She is. Also she's a natural dancer." Otori added.
"You two, are not allowed to see her again." Their grandfather said.
"What?" Otori asked, both him and his brother's faces fell.
"I will not allow my grandchildren to be with that country filth."
"But (y/n) isn't filth!" Otori argued.
"You are in no place to back to me Itsuki! You are to respect as for I am your elder, you listen to what I say!" The old man yelled at the rebellious child, he turned and left the brothers.
"Wait so we're not going to see (y/n) nii san?" The younger child asked in a tone that was ready to cry.
"No, Tsubasa we're going to see her again. That I promise."~Time skip~
Otori took a deep breath of the fresh air as he stepped in front of the old mansion. After they left the mansion as little kids he and his brothers were separated. His little brother was now a Hiragi, as compared to being part of the Otori family. The musical actor prodigy walked into the mansion, but on the outside was a figure watching. A figure that was once familiar was all grown up now.
"He's back..."
~Time skip after Team Otori and Team Hiragi meet~
After dinner there was a knock on the door.
"Huh? I didn't think there would be anyone out here." Tsukigami said, as he and the other 9 boys stared at the door.
"Who is it?" Hiragi asked, as he and his brother came down the stairs.
"We don't know." Hoshitani answered the question. Soon Kuga opened the door to see a young woman with (h/c) hair, tied up up in a ponytail, wearing just a regular shirt, and jeans.
"Oi Toraishi, is this one of the girls you've strung up and she followed you here?" Kuga asked the two toned hair color player.
"Um, I've never seen her in my life."
"Um is Itsuki and Tsubasa here?" She finally spoke. The Hiragi and Otori looked at each other, they only knew one person who wasn't related to them call them by their first names.
"E-er did you mean Otori and Hiragi?" Hoshitani asked. The girl turned her (e/c) eyed gaze to see who she was looking for.
"There you are, you two knuckle heads." The girl ran in and tackled the two musical actors.
"How many years has it been and you two haven't visited me once?!" She ruffled both lavender and navy blue hair.
"(Y-y/n)?!" Hiragi said in a shocked tone.
"In the flesh and blood Tsubasa!" She winked, holding up a piece sign.
"Nice to see you again (y/n)." Otori gently smiled, noticing that his dear friend had grown into a beautiful young woman.
"And it's nice to see you too Itsuki." She said, a gentle, beautiful smile. "But look at you two so tall, and talented." The girl changed the subject. "Your hair got long Itsuki, and look you have to wear glasses now Tsubasa!" (Y/n) joked "but don't worry, I have to wear mine too." Otori laughed at the shorter girl.
"I guess somethings never change with you (y/n)." Shook his head.
"Of course not." (Y/n) acted a little over dramatic jokingly.
"So (y/n) what are you up to?" Hiragi asked (y/n).
"Well...I am going to a academy mean't for writers and composers. I'm aiming to be a composer for musicals."
"I didn't know you played any instruments (y/n)." Hiragi said.
"Well, that's maybe because you didn't know that much about me." (Y/n) replied, being a bit of a smart ass.
"E-er (y/n) did you want to stay a while and catch up?" Otori asked. (Y/n) turned to face him.
"Of course!" (Y/n) exclaimed. After that (y/n) met all of the first years, explaining who she is, and how does she know the brothers. Next she watched part of Team Hiragi's performance, while she screwed around with the piano with Team Ototri. Lastly she hung out on the couch with Otori, because Hiragi had some sort of business to attend to.
"So (y/n) does this academy you go to in the city?" Otori asked.
"Yeah! Actually it's by the Academy you go to."
"What?! Really?! How come you didn't visit me?"
"Well, I was a bit busy. Not everyday that, that school gets a student that can play a bunch of classical Japanese and Chinese instruments, as well as other strings."
"Wow, I didn't know you could play that many."
"Of course you didn't, not many people did." (Y/n) smiled at the lavender haired male. "In fact I didn't know at first." (Y/n)'s face had a fake shocked expression, that was then replaced with a snicker. Ototri couldn't help, but smile with her. There was just something about being with her that made him feel warm on the inside.
"Hey Otori do you want to go some where amazing?"
"As long as you believe it is I'll go with you my lady." (Y/n) laughed at his response.
"You can be such a lady killer Itsuki." (Y/n) got up from her place, and grabbed onto Otori's wrist, and ran into the warm summer night. As they ran through the forest (y/n) lead the male up a hill. He saw a big country style house, it seemed fixed up, but still had rustic look to it.
"Is that your house (y/n)" Otori asked.
"Yeah, but that's not where we're going" (y/n) said as she continued to run. Finally (y/n) stopped, they were at the flower field (y/n) had once took him to. She pulled him on to the floor where the top of the head met his, as they faced the night time sky.
"See this is wear I wanted to take you. I was going to take you here at night while we were younger, but you were gone." In the sky millions of colorful stars decorated the dark sheet of the night.
"It's amazing up there." Otori whispered out.
"Yeah, you can't really see these in the city. You know when you were gone I'd always go here, and think that this sky connected us. I also dreamed you'd be as bug as these stars because of how talented you are." (Y/n)'s tone grew softer.
"(Y/n), you thought I was talented of course I did. I thought you were really going to go far with your amazing talent."
"Really?"
"Of course Itsuki, I will always have faith in you." Otori sat up, and crawled on top of you.
"W-what are you doing?!" (Y/n) started to panic, but there was no reason for her to. Otori embraced her, surrounding his arms around her.
"Thank you (y/n)" he whispered into her ear. After that night (Y/n) didn't come back. Otori remembered where (y/n)'s house was. He ran to the house, and there was a woman sitting on the balcony with a glass of iced tea, and a plate of pastries. She had (h/c) hair, (e/c) eyes, but her hair was down, and she seemed a lot older then (y/n) was.
"E-excuse me where's (y/n)?" Otori spoke out. The woman looked up at the young handsome man in front of her.
"Oh, you must be that young man that (y/n) likes." The woman smiled.
"Wait she likes me?!" Otori started to blush.
"Or I think she does, she couldn't stop talking about. 'I wonder when Itsuki is coming back! Better come back soon.'" The older woman laughed recalling the memories.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm (l/n) Aisho. (Y/n)'s mom, I normally live by myself here most of the time, until my kids come home."
"Otori Itsuki."
"So I'm guessing you're looking for (y/n)?"
"Yeah, do you know where she is?"
"I'm sorry, but (y/n) decided to go back to school earlier. She said something about she needs to work on a bunch of new compositions for a play set during the Edo period."
"Really?"
"Yup."
"You can probably see (y/n) at school, if you aren't too busy."
"I know I'll see her again."~Time skip~
Years passed, but yet Otori didn't meet up with (y/n). (Y/n) cracked her fingers as she placed the bow to her Erhu down.
"I wonder what Otori is doing." (Y/n) spoke to herself, staring at the ceiling of her work place. She was working on compositions for a new TV drama that she was hired to do.
The next day she ran to the studio her arms full of the songs she had wrote.
"I'm sorry I'm late!" (Y/n) screamed out of breath. "I over slept a bit, because I stayed up a little too late." (Y/n)'s friend, Asako who worked in directing, grabbed (y/n)'s arm.
"You should at least meet the main actor for this show. You are writing his songs."
"Ok ok" (y/n) replied
"Otori san, this is (l/n) san. She is our composer." The man with lavender hair tied back in a red ribbon just smiled.
"It's ok Kawaguchi, I've already met (l/n) san."
"Ok, then...I'll leave you two to it." Asako said, leaving.
"Hello (y/n)..."
"H-hi Itsuki." (Y/n) blushed knowing thus was the boy she has loved for a long time. Otori then enveloped her into her hug.
"(Y/n) I've missed you."
"I missed you too Itsuki." (Y/n) hugged the man back, taking in his scent.
"(Y/n) this is the second time you've gotten from me twice. You are not leaving me again." Otori leaned in and his lips met yours, you melted in his hold and kissed back.
"(Y/n) please stay with me, you can not be just a childhood memory to me. Be my girlfriend?"
"Of course!" You replied happily, pulling him into another hug.
