(Y/n) was a dish girl/ cook for the Tengenji family, and she wasn't that proud of it. She wished for a better job, where she wasn't stuck drying dishes or helping cook food for a family of stuck up people. Especially Tengenji Kakeru, the only son and heir. She though he was an utter brat, always saying "you boor!" to people. It royally pissed her off. I mean these people worked to keep his pampered ass well...pampered, and yet he treated them like trash. Although this job did have it's upsides. Since she was the youngest of the kitchen staff, she was always sent around with the family, and she got watch them act in their kabuki plays. Even though the youngest Tengenji was a brat, she didn't deny the fact that he was in face talented. The way he moved gracefully on stage, and his stage presence mesmerized her, and she couldn't look away.
"You know (y/n) chan, it's bad to fall in love with your boss's son." Another kitchen hand, Hyousuke, said as he passed by her. (Y/n) immediately shut her jaw, and snapped her head toward her friend.
"What makes you think I like him?!" The (h/c) haired girl spat.
"Oh you know...that fact that you always stare at him when he's acting."
"Well, that's because he actually seems nice, and has a great personality. I can't help that he fools me. Isn't that part of his job as an actor?"
"I suppose you're right." Hyousuke said, fixing his tie. Today was the day where the kitchen staff was catering for a shoot the family was doing, and the Tengenjis promised they would have food. (Y/n) fixed the black tie around her neck, and cleared the matching vest of any lint.
"How do I look?" she asked, signaling to Hyousuke.
"You look like a guy..." He replied bluntly.
"Thanks." You muttered, scowling at him.
"Oh, don't listen to him, he's just being a boy as always." An older chef, Ikumi, said. She started to fix your hair a bit and smiled at you.
"You always look beautiful (y/n) chan. You have such god given beauty." She smiled warmly, hugging you. Ikumi was like a mother to you ever since you started working for the Tengenji family. Your real mother had died in a train accident, and Ikumi was a friend of her's, taking her in.
"Oh, you remind me so much of Hoshizora, (y/n). You look more and more like her everyday."
"Thank you Ikumi san." (Y/n) smiled lightly at her mother figure and continued one. When it was lunch time for the whole cast and crew, was served by the Tengenji staff. When the crew tried to get food from huge table, Kakeru tried to shoo them away.
"What are you boots doing here? This food is for the cast. Go get your food from the break room." He said, waving is hand in disgust. (Y/n) drew the line there, denying people food, was probably the one thing that pissed her off the most. While she was growing she remembered she had to take care of her little sister, and food was hard to get
"How dare you do that to them?" She yelled out to the red head.
"What did you say to me?"
"You heard me, I sa-"
"(Y/n), stop. You're going to get in so much trouble." Hyousuke said, shaking angry (h/c)ette's shoulder. Kakeru only smirked.
"Maybe you should listen to your friend little boy, you boor."
"What?!" (Y/n) hissed out. Did he just confuse her for a boy?
"I am not a 'little boy'."
"Oh, then are you tough guy then?"
"No, I'm a girl you dumb ass." (Y/n) was getting angrier.
"Oh so you're the dish girl huh?" Kakeru said, like it was a bad thing. (Y/n) marched over to the actor, and pulled him down by his tie to eye level.
"Yeah, I do wash the dishes, and if I wasn't here the silver spoon you keep in your mouth, would be rusted because of how much you actually suck." (Y/n) threw the young prodigy back, and marched off.
"Did she just?" He asked dazed looking at Ikumi and Hyousuke.
"She reminds me so much of her mother...so stubborn." Ikumi said, while Hyousuke had face in his palm.
"She just wants to die huh?"
(Y/n) stormed out of the studio with bags of food, and into the break room, where all of the movie crew was. She set the bags onto the table, getting all of the attention of the staff, all of them turned their attention the (h/c) haired girl.
"Here's some food. You're all welcome to it. It's just my boss's dumb son doesn't know how to share. Sp eat, you guys need your energy back." And with that the female teenager left. (Y/n) continued walk, back to where the buffet table was to continue serving the cast members.
"Sorry, I was gone." She said in a more cheerful tone, as if her scene had never existed. After about 15 minutes all the cast, and crew were well feed, and ready to begin shooting again. As the kitchen staff cleaned up, to only set back up a snack table, familiar person approached (y/n).
"Hey you, I need to talk to you later." She looked up to see Kakeru, his tone not harsh at all.
"First I have a name, and second sure whatever." She replied not really caring, knowing she was going to get fired.
"Ok fine, then what is your name?" Kakeru asked.
"(L/n)." The female answered.
"No first name?"
"You don't need it Tengenji." (Y/n) said, running out of patience.
"Tengenji san, we need you on the set." One of the crew members called him back.
"Yeah, sure." The red head then sped off to shoot the Scene. After the whole studio was done for the day, (y/n) waited around for what he wanted to "talk" about. She didn't bother to go home and change. She only undid a couple of buttons, and loosened her tie. Kakeru came out wearing casual and met with (y/n).
"So what did you need?" She asked, as she walked with him.
"What's your deal with me exactly?" She was a but confused with the question.
"No other person had the courage to ever talk to me like, and then here you come, and you pushed me to." (Y/n) was running out of patience.
"Yeah, I could do much worse if you weren't my boss's son."
"Ok fine, I'll give you that, but of all the times I've disrespected people, you reacted to when I denied people food."
"Oh yeah, you don't get it."
"Get what?"
"Exactly, because you're the rich only child." Kakeru was confused in where (y/n) was going with this.
"Not everyone gets to have privileges like you. When I was younger my mother died, and dad wasn't in the picture. So I needed food for me, and my little sister. No matter how much we begged, no one would give us food. Until Ikumi took us in, she gave us a home, fed us, and gave us a house. Even though I don't eat a whole lot, I hate the feeling of being hungry for too long, and I especially hate it when people are denied food. Tengenji, you have no idea what those people are going through, or where they came fun, and you will never know." She finished, Kakeru could only stare in shock.
"What never met a poor dish girl, on a different level? There is more to me then what you see." (Y/n) cracked a weak smile. "Anyways, are you going to fire me now?"
And the answer flew from Kakeru's mouth, like he gave it no thought.
"No..."
"What?" (Y/n) asked, giving a confused look.
"You take care of someone (y/n), I can't take that away from you, but can you do a favor me?"
"And what is that?" Kakeru pulled (y/n) towards him, closing their bodies together. (Y/n) feel his heart beating against her chest. It was a bit fast....like he was nervous.
"Be mine, and let me get to know you." He stroked the loose hairs from her ponytail.
"Show me more about you, then what you seem."
