Chapter 35

Sissy

We all arrived at the precinct. We gave the officer our report then they told us to have a seat until another officer calls us one by one to the interrogation room. I was called first. Officer Brian greeted me then we both took a seat in the IG room.

Officer Brian: So where were you yesterday?

I was at home but I had just came from the library to get books for my assignment that I have for school. I read a few books then I went to bed.

Officer Brian: And that was around what time?

Ummmm I would say about 10:20.

Officer Brian: Ok how close are you to Rico Fordson?

Rico is my blood cousin. We were always around each other when we were little. He'd always look out for me and I'd do the same.

Officer Brian: Ok that's good enough. Next!

Hazon

Officer Brian: So you and Rico are like brothers huh?

Yes sir. We've been rocking since we were 10 years old. Me, him and Sissy are practically family.

Officer Brian: Ok

Raquel

Look Me and Rico only been knowing each other since 9th grade. Ever since its been Gucci. We ain't never had a bad moment. Look you need to be talking to that Ava chic, she's new around here and before she got here, nun of this shit...

Officer Brian: Please watch your mouth!

Nun of this stuff been going on until she got here.

Officer Brian: Ok I'll make sure of that.

Ava

Finally it was my turn. As I got up to go to the IG room, the crew was staring me down like they knew I did something.

Officer Brian: So all of your friends are telling me that you're fishy. Why is that?

Look I have no idea why they're sweating me like this. Before Rico's disappearance, we got into an argument. I left him by himself and I guess he got a ride from someone.

Officer Brian: And who could that be?

I would say this new girl named Timira. We were only arguing because I seen a text from her asking him if his was coming over.

Officer Brian: So it's possible that he might've went there?

I'm pretty sure.

Officer Brian: Ok let me trace the call that you received earlier today please?

I handed him my phone then he told me to go sit with my friends and he would be out.

Sissy: So what did he say?

He's tracing the call that I got from Rico. He thinks that he might be at Timira's.

Hazon: Why tf would he be there?

Because we got into an argument about her texting his phone asking if he was coming over.

Raquel: Damn Rico got all the newbies.

Meech: Shut the hell up Raquel!

Officer Brian: Hey kids we got a lead. Our units are heading over there now. You kids just follow us ok?

Hazon: Ok sir.

We all got into our cars and followed them to the destination. In about 20 minutes we all arrived at this small house not far away from our school.

Officer Tony: Hey kids stay out here, we'll look around.

The officers surrounded the house, a few went in and we waited to see what would come out of the house. 5 minutes passed and one of the officers yelled.

Officer Tony: I got him, he's here!

The ambulance pulled up and they brought Rico out. His eyes wasn't open and that just made me feel worse. I tried to run up to him but the officers held me back.

Rico! My god Rico! I called out to him but he wouldn't respond. I pushed the officers but then Meech and Hazon grabbed me.

Officer Brian: Ma'am they're taking him to third view hospital, you can go and see him there. Me and the crew thanked the officers and then got in our cars and headed up there.
