~Lily's POV~

Its been a couple of weeks and Jake has been staying with me, but today was special- today we finish school! I couldn't be more happy, and last night I asked him,

"Don't you think your family misses you? You should stay with them too." He smiled and looked at me, then said,

"I have already talked to my mom, she said I could stay as long as I liked but..." I got nervous when he said but.

"But what?" He laughed, probably because he saw the look on my face.

"Don't worry, it's not bad. You just have to like, hang with her but not hang but- wow I suck at words." I just laughed.

~Jake's POV~

Since I have been staying at Lily's for a while, I called up my mom. RING.....RING...

"Hello?"

"Hey mom"

"Oh Jake, its you. Hey sweetie."

"Mom, I have a question for you"

"And what's that?"

"Would you like to have lunch with Lily tomorrow so you can get to know her?"

"I would love to!"

"Alright, I'll meet you at the little café on the corner of Baker Street."

"Alright sweet heart, I'll talk to you later."

After hanging up with my mom, I got Lily and told her the news. She gave me that look that seemed to say she was nervous and scared.

"What's wrong love?" she looked at me, then said,

"What do we talk about? what if I say something wrong!?"

"Hahah, honey, don't worry. You won't say anything wrong, she'll love you."

~Lily's POV~

We arrived at school as normal, Jake went to his friends and I went to mine. We had our normal morning classes, lunch, then the rest of classes. We really didn't have "classes", it was just the teachers telling us what a year its been, blah blah blah. All I could think about was what I'm going to say to Jake's mom. Finally, the last bell rang, and every one was running out of there rooms. I hugged all my friends goodbye, talking and making plans of hanging out at the mall and such, while emptying my locker.

I heard Jake saying his goodbyes, and when I peered over my shoulder I saw the cheer caption, Honor, flirting with Jake. She was standing there all innocent with her puppy eyes, and sickly sweet giggling, batting eyelashes, and twirling of bleached blonde hair- it made me feel sick to my stomach, and jealous as hell. Jake looked over at me and I quickly looked away. I heard her say in the most mushy, barfy, I'm-trying-as-hard-as-I-can-to-be-innocent voice possible,

"Jakey-poo, can you please go back out with me? I really love you with all my heart, I promise." My heart felt like daggers were being thrown at it I could feel the tears sting my eyes. I could feel Jake's eyes on me, and then heard from Honor,

"Why do you keep looking over there? Jake come on, you know I'll do anything you want, I'll give you what you need. Besides, you know I'm nothing but perfect for you." I glanced back at them out of my peripheral vision, and she was practically draped over Jake. I looked back down at the things I'd taken from my locker, angry tears stinging my eyes. Why isn't he telling her to go away?! I thought he said he loved me. That's when the tears spilled over, and I felt a hand around my waist. The next thing I knew, I was facing Jake. He looked at me with sympathy in his eyes and wiped my tears away, then looked at her and said,

"That's where you're wrong. You said that to me once, and ended up fucking the whole basketball team. You say you love someone, but really, you just want their dick in your mouth. Lily's amazing, and she's the one I want." The tears of anger morphed into ones of joy. She just stormed off in anger, and I had to laugh.

"Should we go meet up with your mom now?" Jake kissed me on the cheek.

"Yeah, but I'm driving this time." He said with a smirk.
