-That night-
I got dressed in a neon orange t-shirt and some white short shorts. I worn a pair of white sandals and grabbed my orange knock off ray bans, putting them in my hair. I applied minimal make-up and walked downstairs.
"How much are you drinking tonight?", Callie asked me.
"Um 2 or three at the most I have a kid now, I gotta wake up in the morning.", I smiled.
"Off to party!!", Paul yelled out and pumped is fist in the air.
"Oh my gosh he's this crazy and he's not even drunk yet.", I laughed.
When the party was over Embry and Paul were the only two drunks. We put them on the couches and they went to sleep after ALOT of drunk talk. We all walked to our rooms and I changed into pj's. Jake walked in and shut the door behind him. He changed into a pair of sweats and threw his shirt in the dirty clothes hamper. I changed into a tank top and some sweats of Jake's. A little while later it started to thunder and lightning and rain really hard.
"Mommy.", I heard Maggie's voice and I opened my eyes and Jake and I both looked at her.
"What is it sweetie?", I asked her.
"I can't sleep, I'm scared.", She looked at us.
"Come on and lay down with us.", Jacob looked at her and he face brightened up a bit.
She crawled in the bed in between Jake and I, she pulled her stuffed bunny up to her and hugged it tightly. I kissed her cheek and fell back into a deep sleep.
"Wake up sleeping beauty.", Jake shook me a little.
"Noooo.", I moaned and put the pillow over my head.
"Get up.", He hit me with a pillow.
"I'm up.", I replied.
"Get up.", He hit me again.
"I'm up."
"Get up."
"I'm up!", I sat up in the bed and he was laughing and I rolled my eyes.
"Come on breakfast is ready.", He smiled.
"Ooh food!", I smiled and hopped out of bed.
We walked downstairs and I grabbed a pillow from the couch and wacked him in the head with it, hard.
"Ow, what was that for?", He asked me as everyone chuckled.
"For hitting me with a pillow, dummy.", I joked and ran into the kitchen where there was food on the counter.
I fixed a plate and walked in the living room. When we finished with our food we threw away everything then walked back and sat down. Maggie walked up to me and crawled in my lap. She nuzzled into me and I nuzzled into Jake.
"So are we having a movie day today?", McKenzie asked and Emily nodded.
"What are we watching?", I asked.
"Finding Nemo!", Maggie and Conner said at the same time and we put in finding nemo.
When the two kids were down for a nap we put in a different movie.

"Emily!! Is this good enough??", I called from the kitchen as I finished stuffing the turkey.
"It's fine.", She assured me and I sighed in relief.
"Are we done?", I asked her.
"Yes.", She smiled.
