The Past

As more and more memories start coming back to Isi, she now knows why she didn't know who she was or why she couldn't recall anything before the orphanage.
After running away from her father's territory with Camia, her head cook, they went towards the coast to the south, sleeping so breifly that exastion should have been their downfall but somehow Camia kept them going during their four day travel to the coast. It was here that Camia knew a man who owned a ship.
As they finally aproached and started to board, a few men from the army of King Typhon, who were the ones that attacked the mansion, jumped Camia and Isi hoping to kill off the rest of House Draculesti.
Even as the attacked started, men flung themselves from the ship to help protect Camia and Isi, but the best they could do was create a human barrier around Isi and see her safely onto the main deck. But by the time they had jumped of the ship to fight the ones attacking Camia, it was to late, they had already bludgened her to death.
Isi had been crying from the beginning of the attack, because of fear, and had become so worn out that she fell asleep in one of the deckhand's arms. When Isi woke up she was aware she was in the Captain's chambers but she couldn't remember a thing from prior that day, in fact when asked she couldn't remember anything at all.
The Captain took charge of his princess, knowing he had to keep her a secret. He didn't want to remind Isi that she was a princess but he did give her back her name. After two weeks journey over the ocean, the ships crew had been paid to keep the passenger a secret, then when they finally reached the America's, the Captain himself took Isi to a local orphanage and placed her into the hands of a Miss Olivia Crank.
Over the next year and a half Isi would be schooled through the orphanage until a happy couple came to adopt her. The name Isi would grow up with for the following ten years would be Isi Jean Gardenia. The parents she would call mom and dad were known as Rebecca and Anthony, they were a very affectionate set of people and Isi never had any wants, even though as a normal child will, there were some very unhappy moments.
When she reached eighteen and moved out into an apartment with her two best friends, Hilary and Silvia whom she loved like sisters, it would be here that she met Charley whom she fell in love with and then lost later that same year to a hiking accident. The official police report said he had slipped on shale and fell to his death.
After that moment, Isi swore off men and started to attend college at the Univeristy of South Carolina, since it offered one of the best Bacholer Degrees in Musical composition.
