Tommy held the door open as Katie walked in and he followed. There were a few old drunk men, but other than that, it was pretty quite. "What can I get you?" The bartender asked tommy. "Two bud lights." Tommy replied. Katie wasn't old enough to drink yet, but in this small town nobody cared. Katie and tommy downed the beers talking about old times and good memories. Soon after that they played a game of pool, three of the older man came around and started flirting with Katie, she held close to tommy and he gave them a vicious, ownership look as to say ''my girl!' And soon they got the memo and left her alone. Katie had won the game but only because tommy let her, they walked home that night drunk and happy. The next morning Katie had found herself feeling sick. while tommy lay asleep she went to the store, she passed the pregnancy isle, and got a pregnancy test, just to be sure. Once she got home she opened the package and read the directions then waited for ten minutes, when she checked it a grin spread across her face. She ran into the room and tackled tommy showing him the positive result on the test. Tommy smiled to and kissed Katie. "We're having a baby!" She told him excited. Just then the phone rang. Tommy and his shirtless body started to get up and out of bed but Katie Pushed him back down with one last kiss and went to go answer it herself. "Hello?" She asked into the phone. "Hello mam is this Katie?!" A males rusty voice asked. "Yes, who is this?" She asked. "Hi Katie this is Bill, Tommy's boss is he around, he said he'd call last night but he never did." Katie signed "oh, um how do you know my name?" Katie mumbled. "Tommy talks about you all the time mam, he keeps your photograph on his rear view mirror always! And sometimes when he parks before he comes in to pick up what he's going to deliver he picks up the photo and holds it to his heart praying to god he'll make it home to see you again." Katie whipped away a tear. "One sec ill go get him." Katie walked slowly into the bedroom and walked over to tommy. "It's work, they want to know if you'll make it for next week." Katie hugged into tommy. "We'll with the baby coming, were gonna need extra money, but I don't want you being alone well pregnet." Tommy told her. Katie cried, tommy could feel her warm tears down the pulse in his neck. "No we need the money, ill be fine, go tell them you can." Tommy kissed her. "Katie I promise I'm gonna come home!" Katie nodded and sat in their old bed still crying as she heard Tommy's "ill be there Tuesday morning."
